I never watched Top Gear, so I have no pre-conceived notions of who Clarkson is or whatever. I liked it, mostly. It's not GREAT or RIVITING television, but it's fine enough to put on in the background, though to be fair the show doesn't have a real structure other than it's 4 seasons of a rich British guy trying to run a real farm in the decaying ruins of England wherein he is literally prevented from doing anything and everything by some retarded council of geriatrics from the nearby town who all hate him, and the entire ongoing premise is that no matter how much he spends and how much he works on his farm, he literally cannot make any money because the Government has mandated that you cannot make money farming. So basically he ends up with a farm that is 90% novelty and 10% tourist attraction because of his national fame, which just causes the people in the nearby town to hate him even more.
