This is in a game where you have access to characters' thoughts. I understand compartmentalizing one's thoughts, but the twist relies on those characters not having a single stray thought about their alter lives, and no, they don't seem to have schizophrenia or DID (split personality)

A romantic comedy or some bullshit, but once in a while it cuts to a giant Chris Jericho-like countdown with ominous music before playing the next scene. Then about 3/4ths of the way through the movie, a grand piano falls half a block in front of the main characters, and is never discussed again for the rest of the film.
