This is based on a book from the guy who wrote The Notebook, and the twist is exactly what you’d expect.Tate’s sister could genuinely see spirits, and so can Tate. Wren is a ghost and he has to solve her murder so she can move on into the afterlife. It turns out to be some local guys who wanted to take over her land, and they try to kill Tate too, but he escapes and brings them to justice. After Wren moves on, Tate returns to New York to rebuild his life, and the book ends with him encountering the ghost of a little boy who also needs Tate’s help to move on.
