My least favorite thing about the Trek setting is how easy it is to time travel. Just makes me think about how all of the stories we've witnessed can be easily undone at any moment. Also makes you wonder why there aren't people like Vosk or Annorax just wiping out competing sapients from existence and making the galaxy relatively empty, unless I'm meant to believe that the time cops are protecting everyone.Time travel should be more-or-less exclusive to anomalies and thus difficult for anyone to control. Much like how stable wormholes are extremely rare in the setting.
>>220749632Justin is very proud of his wifes son
>>220751289it's all metaphors, star trek is the series that tackles progressive themes by simplifying them to wacky aliens and scifi tech. time travel episodes are mostly about where to take the franchise. watch The Tholian Web for the first example of Gene not wanting conflict among enlightened crew.

Perhaps the weapon is rushed out before it's ready by the Reptillians and Insectoids.

>>220757198True, but I guess I meant specifically why do we always see them on the human designed ships. Where is their own fleet, where are their own ships? I can't remember seeing them once. Also I must confess, until now I didn't realise that the Vulcans were "in Starfleet" so to say. Like, obviously I knew there are Vulcan and many nonhuman officers and enlisted, but I thought Starfleet was basically the "human/Earth navy" and that Vulcans, Andorians etc were in the Federation but maybe had their own Starfleet equivelants. To be fair to me, like 80% of Starfleet is human and as I say, they use the human designed ships in 99% of what we see.>>220750727I just looked it up. These things?
