What is the worst show you've ever watched to completion, i.e. every episode?
It gets really, really bad.
>>220751233The Sopranos. It has good parts but overall it's a shitty series
Breaking Bad. Prestige TV was a mistake.
>>220751317
Sons Of Anarchy
>This highly acclaimed show was actually the WORST EVERI know /tv/ can be really contrarian but come the fuck onAnyway the worst that I can remember for the moment is Warrior Nun on Netflix.
>>220751342this
>>220751233if you watched every episode of a show it wasn't the "worst" of anything, or you wouldn't have continued.you just dislike the directions it took.i can barely get myself to finish series that actually interest me.
Some of the worst characters in all of fiction.
>>220751342I completely forgot that show existed until you post it, and I've seen every episode as well.Reach out to brown and black so the blowback from yellow isn't bad. I love you, brother.
>>220751536Impressive. Every single thing about this poster is telling me it's absolute dog shit.
>>220751485No, there are some people that watch fucking everything. I dated a chick that just watched shows on streaming all day when she wasn’t working, even if she hated it she watched it to the end
Friends, I started watching it when I was like 10 and it was still getting new episodes. I tried rewatching it 2 years ago and couldn't get through 2 episodes and it wasn't because of my attention span.
>>220752026I spent just spent like a minute wondering what show you might be referring to, and then suddenly realized that it's the show "Friends" and you're not just addressing us, the other anons ITT.
>>220751342This, jaysus chroist bruddas.
>>220751233If a tv show is bad I just stop watching it so probably some kids show I watched when I was 8 or a 6 episode miniseries (is true detective night country its own show or considered season 4 of TD?)
The L word. My brothers mom is gay and had me watch it with her.
>>220751233The Walking Dead
>>220751233How I Met Your Father
>>220751536What made if you even try this show lmao
>>220752353The L Word is kino
>>220752408Why? Did you like the original that much or something?>>220751233Maybe weeds, it got really awful in the end
>>220751455>Warrior NunWhy even?
>>220751233Maniac. It isnt bad by any metric, but I watched it and I cant even remember having watched it.It's not so bad that you're rolling your eyes, it's not so bad that it infuriates you, it was just so bland and dull that I cant remember a single thing about it. It takes a special kind of shitty to make something like that.
thunderbolt fantasyi really liked the first two seasons but then they introduced time travel shit
>>220752551IDK anything about the comic but just from looking at that image I'd bet it's probably nothing like the show.
Every TV show I've ever seen is the worst one I've ever seen. That sounds like a contradiction, but it just all blends together. You can't compare something that just bottoms out so every TV show I watch is the worst one.I don't watch TV. Ever. I actively avoid it. I wash RedLetterMedia or some other rube that's congruent on Youtube. And it continually blows me away.In no way am I exaggerating when I say that I actively avoid trying to look at any TV show ever made nowadays because I feel like it makes me less intelligent. There's the phrase about "boiling the frog". If you're in the orbit of TV then you just get used to it on some level but if you actively block it out and only pursue entertainment where you feel like it's worth looking into what is in someone else's head, you cannot believe how bad that it it has gotten.Gen Z has failed at literally everything they have ever tried to do in the world of cinema. The mediocre ones are bad and the bad ones are so bad that it's staggering.Every TV show ever made after the year 2015 and certainly after the year 2020 deserves literally ever razzie.I talked about television for one minute so I'm done with it. See you in 3 months when I remember this shit board exists.
>>220751233It'll be an anime for sure and i have a hard time choosing just 1.Stuff like Vinland Saga was just god-awful but i stuck with it for some stupid reason.Oh wait i know, it's Made in Abyss. I watched it because the soundtrack is amazing and a reviewer on youtube (mr clemps) made it sound like the most amazing thing that's ever been created by man. But it is complete and utter garbage.
Malcolm in the MiddleThe Thin Blue LineTwin Peaks the Return although that doesn't count because just that one season was unbearableGame of Thrones
>>220752574>>It isnt bad by any metric, but I watched it and I cant even remember having watched it.Same for me. All I can remember about it is I think they go in this place for like a group experiment, right? I literally remember nothing else.
>>220751233Caprica or Gen V.If we're allowing cartoons, then The Zeta Project or G1 Transformers
A disaster of a series that never put together a single episode that was decent from start to finish. But there was always at least one thing in each episode that made me glad I watched it: a performance, a scene, a sequence, a line of dialogue, a stunt, a visual effect, a costume, a plot twist, a guest star, et cetera. So I stuck it out to the end even though it was 99% crap. You *might* be able to edit all the decent stuff down to the length of a single episode, but I'm being generous.
Weeds pissed me off more with every season but I hate watched it to the end.
>>220752550weeds got lost in the...weeds when they left the suburbs. I still get a good laugh about when the series became meta with the story wandering aimlessly all over the place with no destination while the characters were literally wandering all over the country with no destination.
WandaVision
>>220753098
>>220751233I'm guessing this will be a popular answer but GoT, easily. And it's mostly because I was invested in the book source material which I had lost belief was ever getting written so I might as well ride out this dogshit TV show. 2nd candidate would be LOST I guess, as bad as it had gotten I was invested and had lots of normie friends who wanted to talk about itI've dropped plenty of other shows before they ended because they got so bad and I just didn't care anymore, Dexter being the prime example that comes to mind
>>220751233The X-Files. Lots of great stand alone episodes but the on going storyline was shit and has gotten shittier with age.
>>220753242I divide GoT into two shows: Pre-Sand Snakes and Post-Sand Snakes. Pre-Sand Snakes was a great show.
>>220751317That whole era of AMC was insufferable
>>220752719newfag dubshitter
Nu Night Court. I stuck with it. Terrible show. I was hoping it would get better. I was such a fan of the original. Nu Frasier was dreadful too.
>>220751233I usually stop watching shows that I hate. Like all the garbage Chicago shows. I would have to say Stranger Things.
>>220751536This reminds me I saw that Dear White People show.
>>220752419I'll watch any bullshit about young people in high school or college even if it's absolutely abysmal. It's my ultimate guilty pleasure as long as it isn't boring.

Unhappily ever after.
>>220751485if you watch 4 shows, 3 of them are 10s and the 4th is a 9, then that one is the worstworst does not equal bad

>>220751233Game of Thrones
>>220751233Grimm
>>220754285There are only a handful of shows I've even watched from start to finish, so the answer is going to sound like bait no matter what.
>>220751233pluribus probably
>>220751233The Newsroom
>>220751233
Probably House. Not that the whole show was bad, just the last season sucked and I haven't actually watched that many shows in their entirety
>>220751233I really regret watching this shit to the end when it aired
the weird 2000s Flash Gordon series with the guy from Smallville. clearly it wanted to be like Smallville, Buffy, whatever. but it was just a mess. plenty of low-budget sci-fi shows can do other planets. here they'd occasionally go to the Oversaturation + Bloom Field and nothing ever happened. just characters murmuring how some day Ming might rise to power, ooo.
>>220754547>watching every episode of Housewtf who does that. Let alone as one of the few shows you've watched the entirety of. The show is a formulaic comfy thing you watched weekly or on syndication when flipping through channels and missing episodes didn't really matter.
>>220751233Gotta be Peacemaker, especially season 2. Holy shit it was horrendous.
I never finished it, but I watched a lot of Under the Dome. I kept watching it cause my mom was watching it and she was excited to talk about when I visited. I think we both fell off cause for some reason we thought it was a mini series instead of a TV show that would be stretched out as long as people watched it. The other one would be Dear White people. I'm not one of you maga faggots who hate watches shit to get triggered. I was giving it an honest try. The movie was failed from the start cause the central premise of "can I, a black woman who protests for civil rights have a white partner?" has already been answered by every prominate black lives matter leader having a white partner. I was hoping the TV show could do something more interesting with the premise but it didn't. Too scared to be actually radical and challenge people.
The Secret Life of the American Teenager probably.
>>220751233True Blood.Humongous pile of shit.
>>220756572True Blood knows what it is. I think it’s a fun watch.
>>220751233Probably Alien: Earth. They didn't even get the fucking name right.
>>220751455It definitely had redeeming parts, but it did kind of go off the deep end.
>>220751536Somebody actually watched this? And all the way to the end? What the fuck.
The Umbrella AcademyIt's crazy how they made the first episodes of season 1 so good and then killed the show for good during season 2
>>220752642Lolwtf even is this scene?
>>220752970I didn't even finish Caprica. What if we put jebus in robots?! Fucking terrible show.
>>220751233Lost. I was trapped by the eternal mystery box blueballs.
>>220754813Peacemaker literally ended my John Cena fetish.
>>220756829Bad guy realizes he can't win so he chops his head off (he can survive this because magic) and has his demon bird deliver it to the ultra bad guy so he can report what's happened.
>>220756912I figured it had to be something like that otherwise it made no sense.
>>2207513173pbp. Was told over and over again I would love it, finally watched most of it by having a TV marathon on in the background, it was incredibly boring. The only good scene was the big gun in the car because that seemed new. Turns out every lead actor is as insufferable IRL as they are in this show so my instincts proved right again. You can have no nudity, no likable characters, no high drama, no humor, no exciting twists, no budget, no great dialogue, but you can't have all of that and be a good show.
>>220756988I actually enjoyed watching but I wouldn't consider it a favorite. Usually I'm willing to rewatch my favorite shows. I never had the desire to rewatch Breaking Bad at all.
>>220751233The Blacklist. I've watched the whole thing twice. It's awful after like 4 seasons and I know it but it's a comfort show at this point
Orphan Black (I haven't watched that many shows)
Please don't do what I did. The ending was absolutely bonkers; Characters literally describing entire episodes worth of sequences that were never filmed to each other because this dogshit show was finally canceled before it could film them.
>>220751233Murder Drones.
>>220756912>>220756933no he's dead but otherwise yes
It wasn't too terrible but I watched all of Archer despite the show peaking pretty early on (Season 3-4?), I still watch Rick and Morty despite it going down the same road
>>220752695All modern tv shows are made for women
I'm having a hard time coming up with a show I didn't like that I didn't drop before the end. Like even GoT, I dropped it at the shitty Night King battle so I watched it to completion.
>>220751233Entourage
>>220751233Under the Dome
>>220751233I don't think I could do that. I'll give a show 2 maybe 3 episodes before giving up on it.can you really turture yourself like that? can you really watch the first 3 episodes and think "man this sucks, I'm going to watch all 7 seasons now"
>>220761215what if you've already watched all the good shows you can find?what do you watch then when you're eating? you can't just eat and not watch anything.i watched From just hoping to see all the annoying characters die (that's pretty much all of them)
>>220761254>what do you watch then when you're eatingyoutube
>>220751485I watched all of The Walking Dead (for clarity's sake since there are 15 spinoffs, I mean the OG series) simply because I wanted to see what if anything of note happens at the end. It becomes unwatchable in the last 2 seasons but I have sunken cost fallacy out the ass by then so. Spoiler alert: nothing fucking happens.
>>220756988/tv/ threads implicitly assume the posters have actually watched a moderate about of TV and film which you clearly haven't.I genuinely don't understand why people who don't like film whatsoever wade in here to give their massively inflated and out of teach takes. Is it just to feel superior?

>>220751317it started out alright but goes to shit after they kill the lesbian fbi chick. cant believe i watched the rest
>>220761304if the person on camera is holding a microphone i click dont recommend channel
>>220753242GoT isn't really on the same level as a lot of the crap in this thread. The only actually terrible season is the last one and you can get through it easy enough on the first viewing just to see what happens. It's going to be unsatisfying but there is enough entertainment to keep you strung along. I mean the ending episodes in S8 are so bafflingly retarded that you're just watching in awe (but a bad kind of awe.)Everything pre-S7 is good. Some of the earlier stuff, say S4 and before, is amazing. Definitely not a shock that most people finished it.
>>220756759>>220756572I enjoy camp and the concept of a vampire show in NAWLINS sounds great but it really was disappointing

>>220761302Fear the Walking Dead is a spinoff series my retarded friend.
>>220761380Damn, that's a shame because that sounds hilarious I need someone to suggest me more kinos with absolutely incompetent protagonists played entirely straight.

>>220761302multiple people can have the same answer to OP's question.
>>220751233Why wouldn't you just drop something?I only have 'I watch a good show, it got bad for one or two seasons, and I dropped it'. Maybe Gilmore Girls which I watched for my gf.

>>220751342This. I literally can’t remember shit about it either
>>220751233I can only think of Pluribus, at least recently. If a show is bad I usually just stop. It's crazy because the whole time I was watching Pluribus I knew it was going to stay bad and nothing was going to happen but I just kept going? I predicted everything that happened in the show well before, which says much more about how basic and obvious the show is. It's literally feels like you can see the storyboard on screen sometimes
>>220761288>even youtube is just filled with "man looks at camera and talks about something uninteresting"It's filled with amateur documentaries about literally any topic you can imagine. That's the only thing I ever watch

>>220751233The US version of 'Coupling', though only the episodes that were broadcast. Didn't bother finding the unaired episodes.
>>220762561Is that a friends knock-off?
>>220753823We're all pals here, even (you)!
>>220762629The original UK version has been accused of being a 'Friends' knock-off but other than it being about three men and three women who are living the single life in the city, they're pretty different. If you strain really hard, you can sort of map characters from 'Friends' onto those from 'Coupling' but it's a pretty loose fit. At best, the inspiration to do a series about a coupe of young single friends in the city might have comes from 'Friends' but it's hardly an original concept. The biggest difference is in how narratives are told, with 'Coupling' willing to do things like split screen episodes and an episode where the same events are shown from two different character's point of view. The storytelling in 'Friends' was much more straightforward. The US version tried to repeat the process that 'The Office' followed when coming to the US, using the UK scripts mostly unaltered for early episodes. That was so poorly implemented that the show was yanked off the air after only four episodes. The reception was so negative that the network didn't even use the left over episodes as summer time filler.
>>220751342After the first season I'd say every episode is worst than the last till the end of the series. What a train wreck. Don't regret watching it though
>>220762936>The past was always better.Seems like a fitting metaphor of 4chan.
>>220751233The Return
>>220762972IT's funny because the past was not always better (obviously) but there's a phenomenon that occurs in the brain where as soon as a painful event passes our brain starts making up a story to edit out all the painful parts so eventually we end up with a version of the past that seems very appealing and nice even though in reality you were suffering in that momenthope this helps you understand what's happening in your life a little better
>>220762779Oh I see
>>220753233Does anyone have that alien fight webm?
I regret watching a few shows because mostly I don't like television. I think the Brits perfected the form and we got several really high grade things like Edge of Darkness, The Singing Detective (Potter in general), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Prisoner, and so on. I regret giving time to those not a little bit. But Game of Thrones was mostly a huge waste of time and it felt gay to have an opinion about it. Not necessarily because of its ending but just in a general theme park shitty ride kind of way. I have conflicting feelings about The Wire, as I remember it starting to become cartoonish and retarded, but I watched it so long ago that I've nearly forgotten and I know enough not to ever watch it again. My memory is that Generation Kill was good though. I've mostly bailed on or never watched other prestige shows like Sopranos (bailed after a few episodes because I saw it was Gen X mafia meets psychiatry, their favourite subject), Breaking Bad, whatever else. I've wasted time with single seasons of shows like Westworld, which I hated, The Shield, X-Files, True Detective, and so on, but had no interest in continuing. Arrested Development and Workaholics annoy me a little because both had a funny couple of seasons and then collapsed and kept going, which I didn't watch. I mostly just don't like television as a format most of the time
>>220763211Sopranos is insanely overrated especially on this website. Good actors and good performances but the overall story and arcs are kinda shit
If I don't like a show by episode 3, I'm checking out, so I have never finished a show I thought was really bad.Pic related is the only show I ever finished that I didn't really care for. I kept watching just to see if it would get any better, since everybody was going on about how good it was, but it never did.
