What are films that are a perfect C for you?
>>
Shawshank Redemption
The Green Mile
>>
The naked gun remake and I mean it as a total compliment. It wasn't great, it wasn't terrible. It was just fine. And honestly that's more than you get with a lot of the other shit that gets thrown at you.

Hit 'em with the C.
>>
>>220763995
The original Star Wars Trilogy is a C.

(the new ones are a F)
>>
Any Nolan film is a C.
Technically good but zero soul.
>>
>>220765764
NATO propaganda can't have soul
>>
>>220765764
Soul is just /tv/'s euphemism for nostalgia, right?
>>
>>220763995
Saw
M3GAN
Terrifier
Child's Play
>>
>>220763995
big lebowski
blade runner (both)
every world war movie
>>
>>220765791
nah, sould is when you genuinely care for the characters, when you have poetry and so on.
Nolan's films are cold and i never cared for any of his characters. Whoever writes his scripts can't build characters.
>>
>>220765901
Examples?
>>
>>220765794
Terrifier does not deserve a C. It's a D or an F depending on the movie.
>>
>>220765078
I absolutely hated this movie when it came out and could never understand how so many people liked it.
>>
>>220765950
Yeah not that good.

>>220765945
Cope. ArtC is part of the squad.
>>
>>220765754
And the prequels are an S.

Because it's concentrated, hardcore normieslop. This shit isn't any different from The Office, or Community, or Parks and Rec, etc.
It's definitely insufferable seeing how butthurt people get when you criticize shit like this, though; it's just tiring having taste sometimes. There's no need to apologise but I honestly avoid people most of the time because conversations like this are so tiring; they just want you to agree with them or say something like "you're no fun," or "not everything has to be super deep," or whatever other stupid defensive shit they spout that betrays they don't have a mind of their own.
>>
>>220766511
Fuck off, Damien.
>>
>>220766660
Afraid of ArtC?
>>
Any film directed by Michael "Perfect C" Davis. No other filmmaker has such a middle-of-the-road career.
>>
>>220767462
looks like a movie that rapists would love.
>>
>>220763995
basically any 3 star movie.
>>
>>220765926
Dead Poets Society
>>
Hit 'em with it.
>>
Roland Emmerichs filmography is basically packed with those types of movies. They are a spectacle but completely hollow and soulless.
>>
>>220764127
I think that's only true if you ignore context. It would've been a C had it released in say, the early 2000s, when we were getting a lot of back-to-back great comedies. But in this absolute drought? Naked Gun Remake is an A+ because you can't name five movies in the past five years even remotely as funny.
>>
>>220765950
Movie won me over in the beginning when Bradley Cooper shouted out from the street:
>PAGING DOCTOR FAGGOT! DOCTOR FAGGOT!
>>
>>220769459
Oh shit.
