Mr. Robot?

I hate that there's exactly 1 show about random tech startups in the 80s and 90s.
But H&CF kinda ruins the concept by skipping too far in time

Yeah they totally didn't ruin it at the end of the first season when the main character guy has gay sex to save the company. It was the time skip.

that's not what happened though.

No, any series accurate and entertaining enough wouldn't be written by people with enough money.

Shut your whore stupid mouth.

Silicon valley is good one, also mr robot
>>
I didn’t like this series, it’s done in a very strange way, but you get to learn about the rise and fall of Netscape, the paid internet browser, and how Firefox was created from it.
It’s also about Pixelon, a company trying to improve video streaming that had a very eccentric ceo. And the rise and fall of theGlobe.com a social media platform.
>>
>>220764633
Nope, it's all goyslop subversion propaganda.
>>
>>220764633
I never watched this cause it seems ultimately pointless. It's a fictional company in a real historical concept so you know from the outset that they're gonna fail, no?
>>
>>220766837
Mr. Robot had maybe 2 good episodes. This place loves to hype it up way too much just because it's better than the generic random internet/tech made up words in crime shows

There are some boys with bubble butts like that. Apparently.
>>
>>220764633
i don't think they exist or can exist. tv writers don't understand technical fields nor do they respect them. that's why a show like halt and catch fire has nothing to say about the ostensible subject, it's all bullshit they hastily googled to fill up space between what they're really interested in writing, ie lame drama about relationships and feelings.
>>
>>220764769
The one where they have to make a corporate idea board to decide whether or not to tell the asshole he planned his dirt bike stunt wrong and he's going to die was hilarious.

Tech people are selfish and poorly-adjusted, they were never meant to hold power. It is against the natural order of things.

Blackberry (film) is kino. Kind of dies at the end anticlimactically but otherwise is probably the best tech movie ever made. It even explains some of their breakthroughs accurately (although it does gloss over a lot of details)

Season 1 was Kino. After that it doesn't know what it's trying to do, and is just a collage of "remember when the main characters invented various groundbreaking tech"?

You just need to ignore that one episode early on that tries to make the main dude Bi-Sexual for no reason.
It's also never brought up again later on.

On a positive note, I still remember his speech where he talks about the importance of getting rid of input lag. You might think it's an obvious thing, but engineers can't see the forest for the trees.
