Just finished this. Damn, McKay knocked it out of the park. Why exactly did this board have a meltdown over it? Was it because it shockingly close to what would happen if a definite apocalyptic event was all but confirmed to occur? Or did you not care because you think you'll be on the ship leaving Earth at the end?
Trump won. Get over it lefties.
>>220792641I love CateB.
>>220792778Based. Cummanla lost
>>220792883She's hot for her age but goddamn I can't imagine the amount of makeup she had on for the entire movie.
>>220792641it's a bit reddit and they released it during covid so people got triggered by "just trust the science, bro" attitude. It's a shame because the global warming analogy fits quite well.
>>220792928Global warming is bullshit tho
>>220792778Damn right he did. Glory to Israel
>>220792928>global warming
>>220792641OMG I AM AFRAID OF THE WEATHER NOW, TY MCCKAY
>>220792961The best part is the UN just gave up their global warming scare mongering before one of the biggest el ninos ever recorded. So expect a lot of articles saying "summer too hot for you? Un cancels global warming"
>>220792883pits...
>>220792641>Why exactly did this board have a meltdown over it?chuds knew how powerful it was so they pretended it was bad many such cases
>[it was] shockingly close to what would happen if a definite apocalyptic event was all but confirmed to occurPerhapsDoesn't make it a good movie though>Or did you not care because you think you'll be on the ship leaving Earth at the end?I did not care because the movie bored me
>>220793477You do know how those weather patterns, work right? Also, if Global Warming isn't real, explain the flood.
>>220793799El Nino? El Nina? Sounds like commie gobbledygook
Has the same tonedeaf smugness that accompanied similar projects such as one battle after another. At this point the only satires I will watch would have to have been produced outside of the hollywood ecosystem. The only positive thing I can say about don't look up is that at least they advertised the movie in such a way that I knew it was slop to avoid. Thanks for putting dicaprio front and center, saved me time and money. It's not even that I might disagree with the film's intent, I just can't stand the empty bravado and excessive self-confidence.
>>220794017>didn't watch it>but still screeches off their ass about it in every threadThis is the case for like every single movie that comes out today
>>220792641I hated it because I directly disagree with the central premise that we wouldn’t get our shit together and divert the asteroid if it really came down to it.
>>220792641I oppose White replacement.
>>220792928>>220792961It's not strictly a global warming analoguethe story could easily fit on to other existential risks like pandemic, nuclear war, or especially AI risk
>>220792641Who cares if the earth becomes uninhabitable down the line (Not My Problem)
>>220794382>or especially AI riskDon't you ever get tired of falling for leftist fear mongering. Ai is fucking useless but it's not a risk other than emptying your parents retirement accounts.
>>220792961Funny because we had snow up to April this year lmao
>>220794419>leftist?????americans be like "wait I can't wrigh in on this subject until I know what the right and the left opinions are"
>>220794382>just imagine it's something else until you like it
>>220794473Americans are not exactly a smart people. I think everyone else knows this by now.
>>220792954Biden, famous crusader against those dang pesky israelis... You faggots hate them for the wrong reasons and think you're hard.
>>220794698>the browoid says while posting on an American site only made possible by American inventions
>>220794698Buy an air conditioner. Oh wait, your retarded communist government won't let you, but it will import millions of browns to rape your women.
>>220792641The smugness was unbearable and it wasn't funny
>>220794698Americans are quite intelligent but intelligence is severely punished.
>>220794720>b-b-but Biden!kek that's the only retort incels can give when they have their back up against the wall and they KNOW their pedo-in-chief is doing things they don't like but they can't admit it because admitting their side has faults would do massive harm to their fragile ego.
>>220792641This movie made me feel extremely anxious, it was hard to watch
>>220794726>an American siteYou mean Japanese site that's been hosted on EU servers for nearly a decade now?
>>220792641>movie about medial and political manipulation, corruption and influence>fa//tv/irgins throw a shitfit about crap that isn't even in the movieOne could almost, ALMOST assume that somebody didn't want you to talk about the actual points of the movie.
>>220792778True, Trump won in 2024.He lost in 2020 and it so raped his mind that he's never recovered.
