EXTREME WAYS ARE BACK AGAIN
EXTREME PLACES I DIDN'T KNOOW
>>
Why were these movies so hyped up, highly anticipated, and well-received when they came out and then instantly forgotten?
>>
>>220798565
Ok. Go to bed anon.
>>
Bourne Ultimatum is the best one by far.
>>
>>220798791
lmao
>>
>>220798800
It's by far the most entertaining as shit from beginning to end, and that's all the Bourne movies needs to be.
>>
>>220798591
wrong timeline
>>
>>220798591
I never watched any in theaters but it was great for a home movie.
>>
>>220798591
They were decent on first watch and had Matt Damon at his box office peak.
>>
More like Jason Boring, lol
>>
>>220798863
You might be right
>>
>>220798864
I watched the last two in theaters and the shaky cam action scenes in one of them got me feeling a bit motion sick. I think it was ultimatum
>>
>>220798591
the first one was kino and then the second got worse and i dropped the third, its just very good because it feels realistically while still being fantastical spy shit, its like a grounded james bond
>>
>>220799525
second one was the best one though
>>
i love all 3 movies.

The fourth movie was such shit-smelling trash it destroyed all the goodwill the first three movies had created.

The first movie is by far the best.
The second and third movies are shaky-cam shite imitations of the first movie.
The fourth movie was a colossal shitbomb that killed the franchise.

I have spoken. All other opinions are wrong.
>>
I still like it, but go back and watch the first one if you haven't in a while. The hits during the fight scenes sound like they were ripped from a 16 bit version of street fighter
>>
>>220798591
The first one was good. The shaky cam got dialed way up in the 2nd and 3rd to the point that they're almost unwatchable.
>>
>>220800876
It wasn't, but the car chase at the end was pretty cool.
>>
>>220799525
second movie was better than the first at times
third movie didn't know what to really do with it anymore as a lot was already done
>>
God, the car chase in that Moscow tunnel is one of the hardest hitting chases ever put to film. Just wish there was a little less shaky cam.

Moby really does know how to jam!
>>

Have you tried ronin? I didnt see the russian one but I have seen ronin dozens of times. It was the selling point for years. Fun fact, one of the actors did his own stunt driving.
>>
>>220801382
The fourth Bourne with Matt Damon, sure. Bourne Legacy with snow plow guy is actually good

There was several set pieces that set it apart. The snow environment with the drone is cool af!
>>
>>220802836
Yeah I watched Ronin a few times. For some reason it doesn't hit the same. I just looked it up again on yt, and it's far slower than the chase in Bourne. Also I don't believe Natasha McElhone and de Niro pull off that driving the same way Matt Damon does.
>>
>>220802844
This. They could do it well enough even without Damon, how the fuck was the "reboot" so ass?
