What the fuck is even the point of this show? I watched the first two seasons of the original and that was pretty much all I needed. Matt's character arc is pretty much over after S1E3, and Fisk, while entertaining due to D'Onofrio's performance, was already getting redundant, and from what I've seen since then that hasn't changed.So... what the fuck is going on exactly? Is it just recycling the same themes to act as a backdoor for secondary characters, again? Fuck Jessica Jones. Fuck Frank Castle. Fuck Giga Nigga. Shows are a fraction of the price and none of the actors in daredevil born again have the star power needed to put the butts in seats. Daredevil has been cancelled since mcu 2017 and they are in 2027 canonically now. A yearly show with 8-9 episodes helps us fill in the time gaps a lot quick than a 2 hour movie would.
