Where did Pixar go wrong?
>>220824530Encouraging children to present their assholes and shake them around as a rebellion against their uptight parents.

>>220824566I do not like this post.
>>220824530This shit is so fucking ugly. And people on here unironically say animation is art. Yeah, I painted some art this morning… on the rim of my toilet!
>>220824606Excuse me?
>>220824530>>220824645Does everything they do now have that Calarts mouth? Fucking disgusting.

>>220824645Cocomelon has more artistic merit than this trash.
>>220824671>This scene was necessarycrucial to the plot because ElastiGirl needed to fit into tight spaces and her ass simply refused.
>>220824530Looking at this picture gives me a disgust response. Like staring at maggots, fags french kissing, or walking into a synagogue.
>>220824530I can put my personal opinions about Cars aside to tell you Toy Story 3 was the turning point. It was an unnecessary movie. It was a nice conclusion to TS but it opened the can of worms of sequel slop afterwards, and now it's still being milked today even though Andy's story is over and passing his heirloom toys to some kid down the street is short-sighted and stupid. The incinerator scene totally jumps the shark for a kids' movie, and they already are phoning in >muh feels with Andy going to college around the same time as the original target demographic is. Go look up the pixar filmography, it's 80% rehashes and 20% boring minority slop now.The next original thing after was Brave, which did poorly due to the original director getting canned during production and general development hell, rewrites botching the original intended plot and message of the story etc. Coco is the only other one I've seen that I can say was original, but sentiment towards Pixar was already turning sour for too many mid movies and disappointments. We've had nothing but soulless sequels/prequels to their 90s/00s hits, and milquetoast safe 'human dramas' that just revolve around basic ">le love and tolerance and acceptance!" which gets boring if you're not 4 years old learning how to make friends.
>>220824530Whenever they switched to this style of animation. Soulless.
>>220824645
>>220824530Cars 1 was the first time I realized Pixar was not infallible and they could actually make mediocre stinkers.
>>220824530Cars
>>220824530Elio was okay. They had to cut him being a faggot though, after the backlash from all their other recent flops. It was a stop gap to prevent the movie from being another red panda fiasco. To answer your question, they fell off hard right after Brave. There were still some good ones. The Good Dinosaur was good. But most of it has been retarded garbage.
>>220824530when disney fired John Lasseter after false metoo allegations
>>220825170He was supposed to be gay in the original drafts. The movie was supposed to be more revolved around the sexual preference of a child, until someone with half a brain in the production suddenly woke up in a cold sweat screaming "what the fuck are we doing!?"
>>220825170I know that the kid isnt gay in the actual movie, but did the writers plan to make him gay in the early drafts but then removed this aspect from the story because they were afraid the movie was going to flop otherwise?
>>220824530Fuck Turning Red, I'm glad based Mr. Enter kamikazed his career on it much like how the terrorists kamized the WTC and this joke will be it's lating legacy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJhnGFahoHA
>>220825170Very clearly made to be gay. >>220824645Steven Universe art style
>>220824530Wall E is the end of Pixar
>>220824815Been loving your posts this morning anon keep it up
>>220824530Toy Story 4 is the only movie I've seen that left me feeling offended.
>>220824566I love The Incredibles, but it is the correct answer. It is not a "Pixar" movie. It didn't bring in the sensibilities the other movies had. It is a Brad Bird movie made at pixar. It made the brand stretch outside of what it was known for. Outside the box films about things that don't normally get emotions. It's a derivative work too. It borrows heavily from Watchmen and Fantastic Four.
>>220824597what a fall from grace man.
