Is it true that Mad Max Fury Road is the most technically impressive film ever made? Like artistically, it might not be great, but on a technical mastery level, it's elite in all departments...
>>220825684>the most technically impressive film ever made?I don't know about that, but its a very well made movie.
Furiosa mogs it
I think empire strikes back is
>>220825721Really? I haven't seen it yet
>>220825734no it looks like shit
it's boring as hell. just one long action sequence
>>220825684its a fantastic movie everyone should see once and then never again. has literally zero rewatch value
>>220825721It doesn't in any way, shape or form.
I like it when they drive
>>220826405>has literally zero rewatch valuethis is genuinely the biggest lie I've ever seen posted on this board
>>220826454what exactly is so interesting or deep about the story that warrants a rewatch? or are you one of those people that just likes looking at cool explosions over and over again?
>>220826508It has some of the most detailed world building and visual story telling in any movie ever. Possibly only rivaled by The Matrix.if all you took away from it was explosions and vroom vroom on your first viewing then that's precisely why you should watch it again and actually pay attention to the environment, what's on the character's bodies, their costuming, the set pieces, the cars, the weapons, shit that's happening in the background, they way characters speak and the people and things they mention, the actual sound design of the move. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say this movie is an actual cinematic masterpiece, everything about it is good and has a layer or two of story stuffed into it.

>>220825684What’s with this and Furiosa being so fucking miserable to shoot? Hardy and Theron almost killed each other and Taylor-Joy said she refuses to talk about her experience until years from now
>>220826717take one guess, it being with P
>>220826736Penis?
It's my third best theater experience, or maybe second.Amazing movie.
>>220825721furiosa isnt as pretty visually
>>220826736Pretty hot in the desert?
>>220826656fine ill give it a rewatch only cause youre so passionate. its been a long time since i watched it anyway. does furiosa add to the story of the world or is it wack?
>>220826717Tom Hardy was being a diva, he's like that on other movie sets as well, he just sucks in that way. Spending all day in his trailer keeping everyone on set waiting. Charlize Theron was being hyper professional in reaction to Tom being a diva. It all eventually came to ahead and they got into a fight. Charlize requested that security be with her on set to protect her from Tom.The common thing that was difficult for Charlize, Tom, and Anya was the way George Miller shoots and directs. He only shoots what he needs, no lead up. That includes action and fight scenes. This is an uncommon way to shoot movies, so it's difficult for the actors to follow along with what's going on and to get into character. Because of this Tom kind of bad mouthed the movie before it released, but once he watched it, and loved it, and the film was universally praised he had to apologize to George Miller for his behavior on set and not understanding what was going on with the movie and trashing it.This is also why Anya said that she refuses to talk about it, it was an odd experience, she's young and just wants to be able to compare it to other movies and directors and possibly speak about it from a more informed or educated perspective.
>>220826875Furiosa is very good, but suffers from the story not being continuous, so the pacing is slower, still the story telling and world building is as good as Fury Road.If Fury Road is a 10/10, Furiosa would be an 8/10.
>>220827017they get a copy of the script don't they?
>>220827117You ever read a script? They are purposely bare bones. It's mostly just dialogue and some very brief and scant descriptions of what the set and some of the action might look like. Also Fury Road was "written" in the same way The Matrix was, they did it through story boards.
