Thoughts on this movie? I personally found it really generic, so I don't get why so many people treat it like a masterpiece. It's just a standard horror cult story, and I didn't care about the main character that much, even if the movie tried really hard to force you to feel bad for her.I also kind of went into it with some pretty high expectations, because I saw someone recommend this movie saying that this was the only time they sympathized with a cult. That's what got me interested in it, but I didn't get that feeling at all. It was just a generic psychopathic cult full of crazy people. It gave me the opposite feeling of "sympathy".
