If you actually paid attention to the show you'd see he was never actually an atheist. He was lying to himself and playing up the whole god deosn't exist, its all a fairytale thing because he was so deeply nihilistic and depressed. he didnt become a christcuck necessarily, but he experienced a larger truth and couldn't deny it anymore

I'm not an atheist so I don't hate the last episode because of this moment, but I do think that episodes 1-5 are quite possible the best TV ever made in history, basically ending with the end of the 1995 storyline. If the show ended there it'd be a perfect 10/10. Then again, we wouldn't get a glimpse of Michelle's superb fat bubble-butt.
