Somewhere along the way the Internet's transformed this into a disastrous first cut that George himself edited which the editors (often Marcia alone) then saved in spite of/behind Lucas's back but that's not the case at all - if anything the truth's the exact opposite.And while Marcia was ONE of the new editors she left pretty early to go edit New York, New York for Scorsese instead. Of the 3 new editors she did the least amount of work (I'm talking in terms of man hours here - not talent.)
