also was this a good show or nah
I've never had any opinions of my own so I need you retards to tell me what to think
>>
WHY IS IT SO FUCKING BLUE?
>>
>>220834424
it’s good but very derivative. No reason to watch if you’ve already seen breaking bad
>>
>>220834437
They’re in Missouri
>>
>>220834424
season 1 was kino-ish if you like "middle class family guy becomes crime mastermind" slop, then it just turns into blue-filtered misery porn with everyone whisper-threatening each other in barns. Ruth carried the whole thing. Watch it if you need background noise.
>>
>>220834466
well at least ozark never did stupid bullshit like the fly episode and was overall more believable (though that's a stretch I admit)
>inb4 u got filtered
nuh-uh

this was before the Fire Nation attacked

I hate shitty modern color grading so much. This is as much as can be salvaged from that source image.

the scene in question is from the americans akshually so it's as explicit as network tv can go, metoo had nothing to do with this

it went to shit when they started to flesh out the cartel stuff more. the suspense worked well when it was just bad guys threateningly looming somewhere in the background but the moment they introduced navarro it went from trying to avoid a brutal death to dealing with a retarded mob boss.
>>
>cartel leader is in some supermax prison in the middle of the Antarctic
>one sub goes in and out once a year
>cartel leader calls Marty
>Marty I want to be an astronaut, I want to land on the Moon. You have get me into the space program and I need to land on the Moon in two days
>three episodes later Marty arranges for the cartel leader to become an astronaut and he lands on the Moon, within the time limit
>>

You'll never know, you retarded jeet

She show is a shamless ripoff of BrBa but repackaged as a "prestige" show".
They even got Jason Bateman for the lead, who is mostly known for comedic roles, similar to how Cranston was mostly known for playing Hal.

The Walt/Jesse dynamic is replaced with Marty/Ruth but of course it's all readjusted and tonally different. Ruth still roughly follows the same template, being "streetwise" and hanging out with trashy locals.

But overall it follows more of a "prestige" show format with emphasis on "political" drama and thriller elements rather than the campiness of BrBa.
