Like it or not, this has essentially created a whole new genre of horror film. Now that Hollywood has proof of the ROI of the "liminal space" meme, expect to see loads of "Backroomslike" flicks in the coming years, with plots centered around characters trying to escape labyrinthine, unsettling, repetitive places that look like a car dealership with all the cars removed
