The opening scene has a more intricate tracking shot than Goodfellas or Boogie Nights. Some shots in the movie are so precise and expensive they had to be taken at a certain time of day where the flare of a sunset would be seen on the camera for only a second. This kind of craftsmanship even in the worst-regarded films just doesn't exist anymore in Hollywood.
