I AM LE AFRAID
Yeah it was a scary movie i was afraid too
>>220850990>VLCHaha. Retard detected.
aw hell nah
>>220850990unironically pretty scary
>>220850990>a calm office scares a black manwhat did they mean by this?
*chirp noises*
>>220850990people praising this movie are the same people that praise empty canvases in museums absolute fucking retards
>>220850990After years of people bitching about jumpscares they deserve this just like they deserved Blair Witch.
>>220852733He's right
>>220850990what if it was The Crackrooms?
>>220850990>acting like getting stuck in a pocket dimension that makes no sense with no escape wouldn't be completely terrifying
>>220853439HUH!?!
>>220853472i would adapt quite easily actually
>>220850990There's 4 chairs
>>220853439
>>220850990Where is the camrip?
>>220853612well... so does the black guy, so...
>>220853472if the concept was so scary, why did they need to add monsters?
>>220853472i live that way everyday of my entire life and it's not scary, it's just sad
>>220854681So it's less scary.
>>220850990The movie should have just been about him
>>220853472The scary part is slowly dying of thirst and hunger while you search in vain for a way out of an infinite maze. Not getting eaten by a typical movie boogieman after an hour.
>>220854087Go see it in theatres, it looks just like a camrip anyway
>>220854752Movie solved that by making the monsters completely safely edible and i dont think they explained it but the dude casually gets a drink out of the fridge so im assuming water is also abundant
>>220854681monsters have existed since the backrooms were first created in the /x/ thread
I fell asleep 25 minutes in. I can’t believe zoomers find this shit scary. The worse part horror is gonna be replicating this trash for years because low iq zoomers.
>>220853472It's a stupid nonsense concept
>>220854734it is, he even gets a superpowered pirate formno kidding
>>220850990>VLC based detected
>>220850990I'm more concerned about the nigger.
>>220853472I do it all the time, its fun.
>>220850990I haven't watched this but does he end up realizing it's the smoke alarm?
>>220857441>he walks toward you>immediately move to the other edge of the room and avoid eye contact
>>220851036It's not 2015 anymore
>>220853472The concept as a whole is pretty good, but the movie removes a lot of it. The original was more like if you clip into a repository of unused gmod assets. So you deal with untextured backgrounds, poorly programmed animations, buggy actors, and the objects likely have terrible collision with each other. It's not a psychological concept at all it implies that all of reality is virtual in the literal sense, not that it's a video game.
>>220853472For the individual maybe. You don't need some gay ass Vidya concept to portray that though, there's been plenty of people stuck in inescapable situations irl that starved to death. The concept itself is extraordinarily boring, which is why they have to add spoopy doopy monsters.
>>220854087Unironically youtube. Search backrooms full movie free.
>>220850990If there's anything I like about the backrooms is that it's just a simple out-of-reality place, no monsters, nothing spooky, just an endless mazeBut I never gave a fuck about the backrooms because it's for retards
To be fair I'd be pretty scared if I just randomly got swapped into a different dimension too
>>220857800That's a lie.
>>220857704Literally none of that is true. The only kernel of truth is that the original idea used the word noclip to describe falling into the backrooms. There is nothing related to physics, assets, textures, etc.
>>220850990What if he found Grimace?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1m_Quu1YZw
>>220850990>BlackroomsIsn't Backrooms created by White people? Why do black people insert themselves into everything?
>>220852136He's black. He wouldn't hear it.
>>220850990I could make the scariest film ever made, something truly unsettling and unnerving, something akin to this type of stuffhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJ6zHUyp_V8https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHviwdECNjUThere hasn't been a horror movie like that
>>220853439That would justify the black guy as a lead actor.
spoopy
>>220856155Because the concept on its own isn't scary, hence the need for monsters.
>>220850990I feel like the movie was unchairtable to Clark. He had problems, but Mary's verbal beat down didn't ring true, and I think him going as crazy as he did felt unrealistic.
>>220853439Would watch
>>220854769I don't gonna pay to watch that shit
>>220850990Unnerving =/= scary =/= horrorThe Backrooms are unnerving. They're uncomfortable and disquieting, but thrilling in a way, absent of horror in and of themselves. If the main thrust is getting lost in them, that's scary, but it's not horror, it's just a situation. By that measure, something like 127 hours would be a horror movie.Whatever is IN the Backrooms is what makes them scary, and what makes it horror.
>>220858342Thr concept involves and started with monsters
>>220853439how you gon NOT be high, in the crackrooms?ol' chinese riddle for ya
>>220850990It was really cool seeing it on the big screen with theatre stereo. You won’t get it unless you watched it at a theatre.
>>220851083Lel
AWW SHEEIT NIGGA IS THAT A FUGGIN' STAPLUH?Y'ALL GON MAKE LOSE MY MIND
>>220850990The concept of "backrooms" only works in first person. Watching someone else wander through liminal spaces just removes the triggers that induce that very particular fear.
>>220852037Kek. The negro’s two worst fears-employment and peace and quiet-rolled into one
>>220861781>Thr concept involves and started with monstersNo it didn't. The concept came from BEFORE 2019.
>>220860197>unnervingWere you on the SA megathreads too?
