The ending ruined the mystery by telling us what it is. It felt like an already-established unknown place. Some kind of alternate world or perhaps a place built by something non-human. Who knows how long it has existed or how large it really is. A mystery.

But no, it's just inaccurate memories of places that already exist. Some kind of twisted copy of the real world that is constantly updating.

Kind of a bummer. Other than that I liked the movie. Eerie liminal space vibes throughout.

Sounds like cube but worse

The film interpretation is better

It's clearly a mashup of millennial childhood memories and noclip.

A lame answer is better than lazily asking the audience to piece your half-baked ideas together.
>>
>>220851391
They didn't even explain what it is, we've known it has been copying our world for years
>>

It is. But mediocre Cube is still better than most modern movies.

Go see it. Save the theatres.

who cares everything is bad can't believe you people enjoy this crap

As a fan of the web series, I liked it. I wonder if Phil ever asks Mary what she thinks the date is
>>
>>220851391
I think if you hadnt caught on by now that the rooms werent being manmade thats on you
>>
I'm a dimwit why did Mary turn into a fucked up mannequin?
>>
>>220854594
that wasn't her that was something in the backrooms that looks like her

>mystery
Are you dumb? You understand that the first few minutes of seeing the furniture. They simply say what it does in observation, not why or how or for any reason, and that's creepy.

It even copies people, presumably those within its area of effect? Since it copied Pirate Clark, but it could also just use any memory from anyone who has entered. Everything is mirrored as well, which is why all the spelling is backwards.

>So this guy scoops out the stomach of a man and puts it on plates for himself, the man, and his therapist who he had kidnapped
>Then he scalps a woman, puts her scalp on his therapist, and demands his therapist pretend to be his ex-wife
>Then he said this thing which is obviously true because what other explanation is there for him saying things other than it being the 100% true word of God
There is a media illiteracy epidemic
>>
>>220851391
you're mixing things up
the film explained how it works, not what it is
>>
>>220855713
this lol
>>
>>220851391
I mean, there's more to it in the lore, but it wasn't really alluded to at all apparently it's like another dimension that the corporation discovered and it starts to like splice into ans copy our reality
>>
Is this fucking slop on pay per view yet?
