Can we get this movie now?
We all know which one deserves to be the main plot.
>>220853706Ruined by trannies. The concept was so cool until they came and destroyed it like they do with everything.
>>>/x/Just because your retarded bullshit got made into a movie once doesn't mean you get to leave your schizo containment board, freak.
>>220853741It was all made by pre-trannies anyways. They just hadn’t been mindbroken yet.
>>220853706What was the concept of this one? All I remember is the never ending staircase.
>>220853706>movieSCP is too big for a single movie, I think a series would be better, might even be something akin to early supernatural seasons with monster of the week and shit like that
>>220853741QRD? what exactly did they do?
>>220853706You hear about that thing down in Samothrace?
>>220853863Weeping Angel and that's it. It's just a Weeping Angel from Dr. Who.
>>220853706Kinda difficult to make with some SCPs, like the one in your pic, despite being the most famous, it is actually an sculpture of a japanese artist, I guess he doesnt mind people using pics of it for stories, but a movie featuring it might incur in copyright
>>220853706Only one i would genuinely be hyped to watch is the basketball tape one.
>>220853873Twilight Zone style series where there's no strict limit on episode time limit so the IKEA one could be 3 1 hour episodes then the lizard one could be 11 minutes long.
>>220853873>early supernatural seasonsNo it would need to be like the twilight zone. You could have sequel episodes but no over arching continuity. Each episode would be its own universe.
>>220853893What do they do to every fandom and community they infest?
>>220853948This sounds like the best format for this, it could be called something like SCP-files too, and each episode centres on a different SCP, its story and experiments realized on them
>>220853706inb4 we get an SCP movie universe and backrooms is part of it
>>220853706For me its the red pool and the deer.
>>220853948Reminder that IKEA actually tried to sue some people that made a game about infinite IKEA lol
>>220853740>>220853863>>220853913>>220854074All kino; for me it was the buried god that required constant rituals and child sacrifice, but also maybe it's nothing!
>>220854152Sounds like a complete faggot. Hopefully he lost and someone with actual talent makes a movie or show about it instead of him.
>>220853994yeah i don't study trannies so this doesn't helpwhat did they specifically do?
>>220853741It wasn't trannies, it was Redditors and Tumblrfags. The worst thing by far was opening up the wiki to anyone and it made everything watered down and over explained.
>>220853706With all the different SCPs there are, I think it would probably be better as an episodic series.
>>220853893Someone wrote a really shitty entry about a gay tranny satellite or something that got deleted shortly after but mindbroke a bunch of people on both sides of the spectrum. And also the logo becomes a rainbow during pride week or whatever now, but who gives a shit. And a suspicious amount of submissions are about or feature an epic girlboss OC.Honestly I was never a fan of 90% of entries being murder monsters or edgy rituals but looking back I think it would have been preferable to the current state of the website.
Despite everything there are still really good SCPs being made, normally for their annual anthologies. My recent favorite is 9001 which straight up seems like a screenplay prototype, I really like it. My earliest favorite is 1555 though.
>>220854411I was reading it where it was still mostly about strange objects or items, that was always pretty cool. It was also the period where editing or adding articles was pretty locked down.
>>220854411>And also the logo becomes a rainbow during pride week or whatever now, but who gives a shit.I could have ignored it if it was just a week. But that shit was up for MONTHS.Also, not even the gay flag, but the gay nigger tranny flag. Literally, even after every corporation had gone back to their normal logo, SCP kept theirs up for close to half a year. >Bro just ignore itI was trying, man, but do you realize how much cognitive dissonance it requires when you have to see a pride parade every time you're just trying to read horror stories? Shit is beyond distracting.
I appreciate SCP Containment Breach as like a time capsule to when SCP wasn't a dumpster fire. It has all the classic monsters and existential horrors and even a few benign critters thrown in for fun, and nothing else to muddy it.
>>220854721WHY WOULD YOU POST TH
>>220853706I prefer Niggers over SCP fags. I hope you all die. SCP is fine, you just all suck.
>>220853873i would want a tv show with an scp grunt and they try to contain a new scp every week, sometimes winning, sometimes failing (and it just gets reset at the end due to another back scp from the O5 council), with evangelion vibes (think of all the scenes with gendo and SEELE)
>>220854805>blacksouls out of nowhere
>>220854277Demand a space have less gatekeeping and then once in positions of power of that start gate keeping people they don’t like.
This will be my Avengers
what happened to SCP is what happens when a community collectively fails to gatekeep hard enough
>>220853706It would be a legal nightmare to navigate. Blackedrooms got made because it was just one /x/schizo's random idea, much easier to ripoff and get away with it. SCP wiki has an army of militant trannies who would probably start a gofundme to sue anyone into oblivion for even attempting to make an adaptation
>>220855435All SCP ever was a collage of creepypastas that were more easily organized and sourced. It always had that reddit cringe factor that attracted pseuds
>>220854411eww tranny
>>220855142why did the troons decide to turn the foundation into this? because humanity is too bigoted for them?
>>220855577not remotely true, the entire concept is open source and free use. anyone can make money off scp without fear of litigation
>>220855577There are plenty of games using SCP material without crediting themMaking a movie or series would just make them off themselves already at most
SCP and creepypastas in general should be a lesson to the people that made them about why they should have wrote a book instead of a shitpost on an anonymous forum or site, because some of these stories are really good and original but have been thrown into the open source world and thus their creators get absolutely NOTHING from itSad to be a retard, many such cases tho
It was better when every single fucking entry wasn’t “le epic universe-destroying demon monster” or centered around a shitskin girlboss. Entries pre-2000 are the best ones.
>>220855810>centered around a shitskin girlbossI havent read anything new about SCP, is it really all around that now? Fucking hell, and the worst thing is that is the kind of shit that would attract hollywood producers
>>220855810>shitskin girlbossA what now?
>>220855752>not remotely true, the entire concept is open source and free useIt is under a creative commons license, meaning; as long as the creator doesn’t claim their own copyright for their own work, you can sell it WITH proper credit to the creator. Of course you then get into some legal landmines like with 173 and the sculptor claiming damages over improper use of intellectual property. There’s probably like a hundred nested time bombs like this that would go off if someone in hollywood decided to adapt multiple SCP contributions.
>>220855992To be fair, if I were the sculptor that made 173, I would be pissed if they use it on a movie and dont even credit me, but I would also be absolutely delighted if they approached me and asked permission to use it as that would increase my rep and earn me some cashIt's just a matter of checking the sources of the images used for SCPs
>>220856196>It's just a matter of checking the sources of the images used for SCPsYeah and I don't really see anyone with hollywood money going through all that trouble just to make sure they don't get bit in the ass by a misappropriated and misplaced .jpg file.
>>220853706It will cost more than a couple million so A24 will never do it
>>220855577The Antimemetics guy got away with it just by replacing all the SCP references with something else.
Netflix is on the case!
>>220857037article quality can vary
>>220857037Cast him
>>220855142>uh, there's a vague monster, and we can't tell you what it does but somehow total human death is less bad that whatever it wantsThis should not be a real entry
>>220857103I have two sides: very shy, and twisted fucking kidnapist : )
>>220853741Yep.It went from a few cool creepypastas to a full on cringe shit show.>AND LE KINGDOM OF AGADA (or whatever the fuck it is) HAS COLORS AND DOORS AND LE BIG ANOMALIES THAT ARE ACTUALLY ALLEGORIES TO TRANNYISM OH AND ALSO THERE'S A MILLION DIMENSIONS AND SOME UNKILLABLE MONSTER NOW, NOW MAKE YOUR ENTRY SAFE FOR LGTV PEOPLE OR WE BAN YOU INSTANTLY WHILE WE DIAL 8 AND HAVE A CRY
I liked the Mekkannite and Sarkic cultsReally just their names and the broken God but there's kino to be found in the dualism
>>220857203>Mekkannite and SarkicTheres a couple of good ones but far too many shit ones.
There's always been lame SCPs like Cain and Abel. The lizard is silly but he's basically the mascot so whatever. The corrosive old man that drags you to the Backrooms is edgy but cool.
>>220853706I hear Jake Gyllenhaal plays the lead and its being shot all in 1 take.
>>220854411theres also the totally not trump entry
i think my favorite one that kinda creeped me out involved some multi-dimensional shit, but im pretty sure it was pre-trannydom
Too many fingers in the pie.The fact is that the SCP wiki was a legitimate collaborative project done out of love with no intent for profit. There's no way to properly credit or compensate the people involved with it which is why nearly every attempt to leech off of it has remained small time or been done pro bono.A movie would be awesome, but there's too many loose threads to tie together without either outage or a potential lawsuit.
I'd been following the SCP since the beginning. But I think the one that's stuck with me the most has surprisingly been in the 3000 series. https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3930It's not the most creative one, but I think it executed the concept of "Stare into the abyss long enough and it stares back" better than anything else on the site.
>>220854411are u talking about SCP-2721?
>>220859181Pattern Screamers were cool when they were kept vague. Kaktus as usual has to make a huge production of over explaining shit until it isn't creepy anymore.
>>220853706>an we get this movie now?Just generate it with AI.
>>220857103>over any circumstances
The best SCP stuff is not-SCP stuff.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHxWOgjBDQQ
>>220859965>play AF expecting half life but wackier with friends>stumble upon a treasure trove of creepypasta/SCP kino insteadThis game would've made middle school me nut
>>220859701nu-SCP authors can't commit to write in dense scientific-report style because that requires actual effort, so instead they churn out hundreds of lines of dialogue where scientists and O5s can't stop expressing their feelings, and then they put the real ending in a straight-up narrative tale.they think SCP is all about the lore when it's supposed to be all about the writing style.
