>>220862158It's based on "La jetée", a much condensed and shorter version of the basic story. It is a photographic novel which apparently was a thing in the 1960s and allowed for this interesting concept to be produced at a very low budget. It's an interesting watch.

the remastered 4K version is so much better than the 1080p blu-ray for some weird reason, i almost never see so much difference in video quality, the extra detail brings those amazing backgrounds so much more alive.brad pitt's acting + this 4K remaster team *slowly starts clapping hands*
