>'noooo how can i possibly escape this situation?!?!'
>>
>>220865181
what'cha gonna do with rope, anon?
>>
>>220865181
I could reach the top easily
>>
>>220865239
I'd fill her mouth with ropes if you catch my drift
>>
>>220865239
sling it over the top and try to catch something.

for anons on the autism spectrum:
it is implied that the character is unfamiliar with her surroundings, and she doesn't know there ISN'T some kind of bollard up there.
>>
>>220865282
doesn't appear to be enough "rope" for that, anon.
>>
>>220865282
What if it's just open ocean everywhere? What if... she somehow manages to escape and looks around and it's full of other similar platforms? W-what if... she looks up and sees 3 suns or strange looking planets? FUCK ME I SHOULD BE A HOLLYWOOD WRITER

>hoodie (poor production choice tbqh)
>T-shirt
>trousers
>shoes with laces (hoodie still has the lace, too)

think of how many yards of rope that actually is.

before you say
>it's for the friction!
they make it clear she's grazing her hands. and she can still save some for her hands/feet for the grip.

this is like making a high-concept horror film about a man starving to death because he's trapped inside a bread factory.
>>
>>220865392
Lmao she can barely move you faggot, how's she going to undress.
>>
>>220865282
The genius scheme you're extremely proud of having come up with is to sling a rope over the side and hope that it gets caught on something that can support your body weight?
You are extremely stupid.
>>
>>220865181
Just slide yourself towards the right wall and then jump back and forth against left and right wall until you reach the top.
>>
It's a fucking 9 minute horror short free on youtube and you faggots still won't watch it before commenting about it.

This. Personally I would simply unweave all my clothes and use the fabric to make a braided rope, then smelt any leftover metals to create a crude hook, assembling them and using them to catch any bollards, cars, or witches that may be standing above my precarious ledge. Once up there I would start my new life as master of the dam and live from fishing and small game, and maybe steal some packed lunches from the people who worked at the hydro plant.

she moves all over the place. it's not nitpicking, it was intentional production design choices. they show her hands, her clothes, her shoes. she's not in some THX-1138 outfit with the grips on her soles burned off, she's in ordinary casual clothing.

this guy gets it. possibly even more intelligent than me. i bow to your superior wisdom, anon.

His art is the epitome of "learn the rules before you break them"

Summarize it

she can barely move on that spot, she wouldn't be able to take off her clothes without falling

that's a good way to put it.

the best horror flicks have rules. Alien and Nightmare on Elm Street are satisfying because they establish what the monster can do, then the characters respond intelligently and find a clever solution. perhaps there's even an extra twist/spice, but it's set up (rather than an asspull).

so many amateurs neglect this, and think people are just being dorks. like complaining is the same as saying an actor's wig was on the wrong way in scene 3F09.

Why does this keep getting reposted recently?

OP here, this is the first time i've posted about it.

i have seen other posts about it, though. but nobody raises this very obvious solution. sorry if if that's the joke/meme, i have brain problems.
