And people are still working on it, just not in a big showy shopping-mall sized greenhouse. Though, if I ever do get fuck-you rich, I am building a house with a massive 3 story greenhouse with a wave pool/fake water fall like that one room they had in there. And I've seen some cool stuff using tall tubes of water packed with algae and surrounded in grow lamps and a bubbler create a natural lung for a closed environment like that.

I mean the best part of the movie is that its just these two dipshit assholes who meet the greatest figures in history, and then in the sequel the make friends with death, escape hell, and air-guitar at god while William Sadler is just ashamed and trying to appologize. I can't really see those two just getting locked in a biodome.

I forgot how stupid these movies were. I grew up loving Pauly shore as a little kid. Its kino. Im not saying its not kino. But holy shit some of the jokes and goofs are just outrageously juvenile and crass. Like they destroy the science lab and make all these faces and little dances. I forgot aboht that 90s style of humor. It reminded me of the buck tooth dumbass kids in elementary school and the kinds of things they laughed at
