There were some great individual moments. There's a reason why so many people were talking about the show around the water cooler every week. But if the follow-through is somewhere between shit and nonexistent, then it's fucking garbage at the end of the day. Jar Jar is good at set pieces, spectacle, even if it's never that original. But there's never any substance to anything he ever does.
