This was a decent 7/10 movie. Why doesn’t it get talked about more?
Dan Trachtenberg is great at turning cool ideas into bland, modern sludge.
>>220872447THIS X 1000.+ Cool plot (warrior's from different eras).- Total lame ass animation.- 35 years too late, IPs already fucked to oblivion.- Retard guy from Prey.It was just wasted good cartridges.
I enjoyed the 40-hour Tom Cruise cut of Project Hail Mary, highly recommended.
>>220872769I didn’t like that they memberberried the protagonists from the past movies at the end but the concept of having a bunch of cryofrozen hero’s from the past was cool. It should have been Leonidas in that final scene not the Indian girl.
There isn't enough testosterone in Hollywood to make anything good with the predator these days.
>>220872202>decent 7/10 movieI doubt it. But more importantly Predator was 10/10, why the fuck should we accept increasingly mediocre cash grabs from Disney who are more interested in maintaining brand ownership and revenue than actually producing quality entertainment?
this is the ifrst time im hearing about it.why do they keep making predator movies anyways? only the first one is good. and everything after 2 basically is just cool action figures fighting on screen with basic bitch human characters. stop mkaing these movies
>>220872202Things don't get talked about anymore past their first week. I thought the movie was more like a 6/10 but it's decent and I don't mind its existence.
>>220873681>>220873716There are some decent concepts in it. There’s a WW2 part that’s kinda cool.
>>220873768>that’s kinda cool. But that's my point, a Predator film shouldn't be "kinda cool" it should be awesome and keep you interested the whole way through, but Disney are confident that they can just fart out whatever they want and it will make money. They don't want to make something genuinely good they want to keep the property locked in place, stick a hose into it and drain it until it dies completely. It's parasite film-making.
>>220873681>>220873894We're dealing with a entity that predates WW2 people. It's an expert in human manipulation and it knows how to play into our weaknesses. It's not here to enrich our lives and the good ol U.S. of A. has been keeping it on life support since covid.
>>220874242>It's not here to enrich our livesThen what's the fucking point of it? Because if an entertainment company has designs on anything other than entertainment, then that speaks to a sinister purpose.
>>220872820>video removed by the uploaderWhat was it?
>>220874871My guess would be to sustain a legacy. Ensure that its useless offspring will thrive and so forth. It's become a mainstay in culture and rather let it die, banks shovel more and more money into it. Shit is basically an institution. It's unfortunately grown too big to fail.
>>220875157It'll be some bullshit thing where at best, they post screenshots from the film and some AI voice narrates what happens in the film. Usually though they're just knock-off films or looping clips and a thing saying "free film download link below!" that takes you to some malware bullshit. Southeast Asia has never uploaded anything of value to YouTube.
