Thanks for another fresh Star Wars thread, OP!

I haven't heard anything about this film.
Is it well-recieved? Does it do anything interesting?

Putting Grogu in the title killed it, I think if it was named just Maldanorian: the Movie it would do better.

the start is actually pretty fun with them on the snow planet taking out At-At walkers
but then it slows way down and just never picks up again
the Hutts are just boring, I get that you're Jabba's son and you don't want to be anything like him, you've said it like 5 times already throughout this fight and you just look like CGI slop
>take Jabba from that one deleted scene with Han in New Hope
>give him abs
>call it a completely original character
the whole thing just never really picks up again after the snow planet
and it also really bothers me that they've shown before Grogu can use the force, but he never does in this movie even when they're in a bind and the force would actually help like when Mando is near death
even when Grogu is left on his own with the munchkins after Mando is captured (how was he captured so easily is my question) it's still really boring because they just get help from the new republic who fly in at the exact moment they're needed in the story
Sigourney Weaver did a great job though, I thought her character was probably the best part of the movie but that may be because she doesn't do much she just talks
Pedro sounds tired and bored, Grogu doesn't do anything and is there just to sell toys, Rotta is a really boring villain, oh yeah Zeb is in this movie... it's easy to forget since he doesn't do anything and was thrown in because

it isn't the worst star wars movie ever but it definitely isn't good

This was all I ever wanted as a tv show. I stopped watching after the end of season 2 revealed it was always going to be the baby Yeed show. Just give me a bounty hunter show about bounty hunting instead of "oops, it's actually about fighting the empire again and all that for the 4th time"
