Now that the dust is settled,Will it ever be topped?
>>220880216>CraigslopGrow up
>>220880216Its already been topped by every non-Craig Bond
>>220880216I'm sure you'll find a way OP ya big faggot.
I am a zoomer and I know a james bond has run across crocodiles before thisthe parkour was based though so I guess we are at a standstill
Heart attack scene in the car was intense
>>220880387>Its already been topped by every non-Craig BondThere's no non-craig bond after it, so those before do not count
I was extremely disappointed by the Craig movie when Casino Royale came out, but looking back they are really good until Skyfall.
>>220881877>skyfallwhy is it so hated here?
>>220881909I meant including Skyfall. Spectre is still good, but it would fit better as the movie before Skyfall.
GoldenEye is the best James Bond movieCraig movies fucking suck ass
>>220882010Remington Steele was the worst James Bond of them all.
>>220881909Because it's popular/successful. Same reason dweebs here will tell you Quantum of Solace is the best Craig Bond movie.
>>220881951Spectre is honestly the most boring Bond movie I've ever had to sit through, it almost put me to sleep. At least NTTD has a brief shot of Ana de Armas getting changed, Spectre can't even make a car chase look interesting.
>>220880216But Daniel Craig gets topped every night.
better question is: can picrel be topped?
>>220882035>Same reason dweebs here will tell you Quantum of Solace is the best Craig Bond movie.I've almost never seen this here. CR has always been loved.
>>220880216No, it's the best this franchise will ever come up with.
>>220880216Yes Live and Let Die is the supreme
>>220883038Yeshttps://youtu.be/sn8alMYSu44
>>220880387This, Craig looks like the side character the real Bond cucks
>>220880216That cocksuckin' piece of shit Barbara Broccoli's boyfriend - I can't even say his name - murdered James Bond. And what did I do about it?
Anybody else love the 1967 version?
I really can't stand boomers here who worship Moore and shit on Craig. The only bad Craig film was Spectre and even it had great moments and is better than anything pre-Dalton. Moore is the worst Bond and has disgusting feminine mannerisms and no amount of seething will ever convince me otherwise. Craig is a great Bond and his movies are excellent.
>>220880216Nope. Best bond movie ever, hands down.
Craig being chosen to play Bond after his role in Layer Cake and ending up having his balls slapped and whining like an emo bitch is the cruelest joke in mainstream britbong cinema.
>>220880216easily.the main actor is a fag.the main romance is useless and dumb.the best bond is to come.
>>220882105She will never be topped. Even Lea Seydoux couldn't do it. Maybe Gemma but she was like, 5 minutes only in the screen.
>>220886130> having a sense of humor and not spending the whole movie moodily squinting and talking quietly is "feminine"Daniel Craig is literally a homosexual who lets men put their penises in him. You cannot get more feminine than that.
>>220887443>Daniel Craig is literally a homosexual who lets men put their penises in him. You cannot get more feminine than that.nta but Craig's Bond never exuded that tho.
>>220886208>the best bond is to come.who's to come???
>>220880216No, it will never topped as the worst Bond movie
>>220882113I've seen it a lot, but it was mostly to say "because /tv/ and 4chan in general have a huge amount of eternal contrarians. Either because they're taking the piss, mentally deranged or a mix of both. Either way, the contrarians are a constant here. A very fucking tiresome constant.
>>220886130Moore is the ultimate imperialist version of Bond. He's great
>>220882105A couple of Bond Girls in their prime come to mind, like Jane Seymour in LALD. With that said, it's all downhill from Eva Green; no woman will ever come close, not even if we get another 50 years of Bond flicks.
>>220881877quantum was a piece of shit
I saw each of the craig films on release and they all blend together in my head now with very few standout moments. In fact I can't even tell you how many there were without looking it up, I'm going to guess five. The last one was one of the most boring action films I've ever seen
It shouldn't be hard but I still doubt it because it's the only Bond movie to date that manages to be even pretty good.It would actually be good if the last act didn't bring the whole movie down.
>>220882105Vesper Lynd is a dumb cunt and one of the least likable Bond girls of the entire series. Some stupid traitorous whore who gets honeypotted by a Quantum agent, and who talks shit to Bond and acts like a bitch toward him for no reason except that all Bond girls have to be girlbosses now that Barbara Broccoli is in charge.Eva did look good in that black dress, but she is hotter in other movies and actually does nudity in them
>>220882105They can't find anyone hotter
>>220889182The rare book-accurate Bond girl.
>>220889332Except if Bond himself were book-accurate he wouldn't take that kind of shit from a woman. Craig is a pussy
>>220889420He would and he did.
You guys ever get talked to spies because one time an impossibly beautiful lady in a light blue skin tight tracksuit started asking me questions while I was in a shop she was asking if I could see eye drops in the medicine section and I couldn’t so she asked for directions to the local pharmacy so pointed her to it and she asked if I’m from here and could show her around but the dead give away was the phone background she had was a photo of her holding a type of bird similar to a pigeon I had suspicions straight away but that was the final nail so I put down my basket and walked out I saw myself outside my body for a moment I was aware of something I just, I had mistakenly talked about a specific liking for women in tracksuits and it was a lure tactic for sure possibly to hire me or silence me as I discovered prior that the city/work wasn’t in fact recycling the plastic recycling but throwing it all together into the same bags as general waste in my warehouse, the last one was a guy that definitely tried to “hypnotise” me with his very noticeable bag of glazed ring donuts my literal only vice in life which I had sworn off of course they’d use that why stand so close to me with that while I was sitting and he looked exactly like the employee at my local corner shop so they’re desperate to try mess with my mind, I knew since I was back in my school days the use the same people frequently reappearing but looking slightly different appearances as I knew my “dad” was the “IT teacher” I been dwelling on it seeming to have lost grace in the family for saying as such but then at work I run into a guy that looks suspiciously like my best friend from when I was just a young lad however he died last year in a bike accident so they seem to be intensifying their game, plastic waste doesn’t mix with the cardboard or discarded food they’re completely different and I’m not joking.
>>220880216No. I don't think the rest of Craig's tenure is all that bad, though. Just middling and disappointing after Casino. Only Connery had a truly great run, and he still ended up with DAF.
>>220882105>>220889197Eva green was a litteral 10/10 in her prime. Same with January Joned and zmary Elizabeth Winstead
>>220886130>boomersI dunno, man. The actual boomers I knew growing up tended to disparage Moore's movies. Moore was around for a long time and more importantly made so many movies I don't doubt older people being attached to him, but I'd say a lot of the Moorefags you're seeing are under 40. People that lived through his tenure associated him with the series being fatigued and stupid.
Have any 2 back-to-back Bond movies fallen off harder than this and Quantum? Just rewatched Q for the 1st time in 18 years, and omg did it drop off hard. And I love Almaric in anything he's in.
>>220891597Going from TSWLM to MR was worse.
>>220889782There are a number of bold choices here; but some based ones, too. I simply reject all of Craig's pictures. His tenure is an abomination. I'm shocked how well regarded Casino Royale is with some people. That said, seeing From Russia with Love at the top (my favourite Bond film) and spotting Dr. No in A tier reduces my blood pressure.
>>220882035>dweebs here will tell you Quantum of Solace is the best Craig Bond movieNo one has said this, at most they’ll say it’s an overhated pleb filter which is true. Watch it right after finishing Casino Royale and it’s great.
>>220880216>Will it ever be topped? No, and I love that its undeniable levels of kino trigger the fuck out of the anti-Craig brigade
>>220893233I think my taste in Bond movies is pretty milquetoast, really. These days it's probably controversial to put OHMSS that low, but Lazenby is shit and almost the entire second act at the clinic is a snooze-fest. Beautiful photography, though. It's my favorite Bond movie in terms of how it's shot. Also if it wasn't obvious the movies are just organized by release date within each tier; I didn't feel like getting more granular since there are some that already feel a little arbitrary.
>>220881909Skyfall is a piece of shit and ruined Craig's run (after the writer's strike fucked him initially). It's terribly written>oh you captured me and put me in a super secret prison?>haha you fell right into my trap>you see, I KNEW you would capture me>and I KNEW you would put me here>and I KNEW that the london underground passes right next door>and because I'm so smart, my associates have already hijacked a train to break me out>and they know the exact schematics of this top secret underground base too so there's no fear that they'll accidentally kill me in the process>and what am I planning to do with this amazing power of foresight I hear you ask? haha idiots, my plan is as smart as it is devilishly evil>you know M? the little old lady who doesn't suspect anyone has a target on her back? I think you broke into her house one time actually... not the point. well my SUPER SMART PLAN is that I'm going to shoot her. while she's giving a speech
>>220893296kek based
>>220880237I rather liked Craig as Bond
>>220893390The writing started getting so bad in the later movies.. Why did they even bother making them
>>220893518Despite being absolute ass, Skyfall is the highest grossing Bond film of all time. That's why it ruined Craig's run.It told the producers "this is what sells and what audiences want"
>>220880216That's not even the best adaptation of Casino Royale. The 1967 version with Orson Welles as Lechifre rules.
>>220887443>Daniel Craig is literally a homosexual who lets men put their penises in him.you don't know that. Not every homosexual bottoms.
>>220891597I haven't watched quantum since it came out but isn't the bad guy's big plan to use a series of shell companies to secretly obtain all the water rights in Bolivia? Wouldn't the government just nationalize it once they found out?
>>220893265lol, QoS was just a vehicle to push global warming nonsense, which was huge in the latter 00s.
>>220893390even funnier to think this was just one of three films that came out in 2012 to use the plot device of>oh you captured me and put me in a super secret prison?>haha you fell right into my trapThis was also in The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises.
I finished watching the Connery movies plus Lazenby's. What do you guys think of my ranking:Thunderball > You Only Live Twice > From Russia With Love > Goldfinger > On Her Majesty's Secret Service > Dr. No > Diamonds Are Forever
I want to watch the original non-Eon Casino Royale movie but it's so fucking hard to find, what the fuck
>>220891597Wasn't that exactly during the writers strike? Like they had non-writers coming up with Quantum?
>>220893695They were also funding the guy who was planning a coup against the government.
>>220882105she was 10/10 in this film. You have to be gay to disagree.
>>220894654I'd never put Thunderball that high. I find that movie fairly middling. I've grown very fond of OHMSS after several rewatches of all the films, so I'd rank that a lot higher myself.
>>220894786Thunderball I ranked the highest because I liked the underwater scenes and the comfy beach atmosphere, and I liked the entire sequence of how they took down the plane and stole the A-bombs.OHMSS felt like such a departure from Connery's Bond so I didn't feel the magic you're describing. Maybe you're right and it takes a few watches.
>>220886130>I really can't stand boomers here who worship Moore>>220890898>I dunno, man. The actual boomers I knew growing up tended to disparage Moore's movies.Boomers hated Moore.Generation X and older millenials liked/loved him.
>>220880216QoS is the worst Bond movie on the fact you can get a seizure watching it
>>220881909We had two movies about CraigBond's first mission and then skyfall immediately jumps into the twilight of his 00 career. what a fuckin waste
>>220895739I've noticed that people's opinion of OHMSS has become less and less divisive over the years. It started off as one of the 'worst' Bond films and stayed that way for decades but over the past decade or so people have come to rank it pretty differently, I feel it was somewhere during the time of Craig's tenure as the more serious and human Bond that people might have started to see OHMM's story and Lazenby's performance as a more vulnerable, human Bond in a more positive light. Certainly a lot more positive and less controversial than what it used to be.
>>220889782r8 my ranking. Rewatched all of those with my dad, one every sunday.
>>220893728Also the jews did steal the water of some poor dirt farmer spics on a massive scale IRL
>>220882105This is a Hunter board. Of course Eva Green will be loved and cherished as much
Are people still pretending this isn't the 2nd best Craig film?
>>220887288>even lea seydoux couldn't do itShe's a sexless alien. Eva's eyes radiate a monstrous lust for cock.
>>220881909Because people liked it TOO much. If anything gets more than an average review it gets hate bombed and over scrutinized
>>220881909Zoomers/younger millennials. Skyfall was beloved on this board in 2012.
>>220880216Now that the crust has settled, will Nick Offerman ever be bottomed?
>>220893754The Dark Knight had disastrous consequences for blockbuster films
>>220896778Why Spectre in A? Everything else makes sense
>>220891597OHMSS to Diamonds Are Forever is just brutal
