I don't know about any of that, all I know is that I've tried to watch Korean films, shows, read some manwha, and the way Koreans do storytelling and characters is just bizarre and I don't get it. I can't relate to their characters, or their stories, or bring myself to give a shit about anything that is going on.The Japanese seem to have more westernized style and sensibilities which makes their stuff far easier for me to digest, with plots I can follow and characters I can relate to.
