Pitch me the movie. Now!
>>220891010Cabin in the Woods
>>220891010cool war adaptation
>>220891010The infinite ikea one, titled "3008" which will be the address of the building. Teenage kid works there hates his life 10-15 minute opening of his struggles (shitty family, cant get girls, whatever) then he has to open early one morning. Accesses the paranormal site inside and the rest of the movie plays out just like the scp article, including seeing random foundation drones flying by. Right when the survivors are about to be overrun after their camp collapses an MTF bursts in guns blazing, kills all the monsters, secures amd evacuates the survivors, debriefs and amnesticizes them. Zero mention of who they are or what the foundation is until the final scene with the debriefing doctor/researcher voices over the introduction and containment procedures as the camera pans out from the empty irl now secured building, final words "object class: neutralized". (Yes its euclid but that makes it more of a nice wrap up to the movie).
>>220891010taken over by trannies and the like
>>220891010Not movie, but tv series with monsters of the week format and some continuity like the X-Files
>>220891010I feel like the whole Copyright thing makes it difficult to do anything big budget with SCP but I guess backrooms is like that too.
>>220891876>Copyright thingSCP copyrights fanfiction now?
Modern SCP? A transgender SCP scientist finds some way to use an environmentally friendly SCP to kill a Trump stand-in and save some queer brown people.
A 37 year old millennial furniture store manager hires a 28 year old zoomer, and they get into a fight and have ass sex in the middle of the showroom floor, with a lot of cock into asshole shots. The zoomer says, god I love when you fuck me with your millennial penis. Then the millennial says, just be quiet and let it happen. And then he puts coco melon on the store display and starts vocally scatting like scatman, and then scatman appears by noclipping through the floor and this song plays: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hy8kmNEo1i8&list=RDHy8kmNEo1i8&start_radio=1
>>220891977That Age gap is too big for the modern audience.
>>220891150are we cool yet never produced a single article worth reading
>>220891923No it's that you can't copyright it so no big suit would greenlight a SCP movie.
>>220892177Just do what Remedy did with Control and make an off-brand SCP stand-in.
>>220891010Idris Elba is a scientist who just wants to go home and see his daughter. But he's roped into working overtime at the scp facility on the night the safety protocols fail and the monsters are unleashed. Also Lea Seydoux is in it and she breasts around boobily
>>220892177That doesn't make sense, SCP is just a fan fiction depository larping as an institute website. It's inability to be copyrighted is tied solely to the old /x/ practice of taking creepy images and making stories up about them, with said images often being owned by other parties such as Izumi KatÅ creating and owning the rights to the sculpture 173 is based on. Nothing is stopping anyone from borrowing the concept of a particular anomaly and making a film about it. They already blatantly did that with Sinister's Bhugul by basically stealing the Slenderman concept.
>>220891010the endless stairs is going to be the next one
>>220892747The alien in Nope was also blatantly ripped off from an SCP entity. Which is the smart move honestly. Mine it for ideas and discard all the cringe shit surrounding them.
>>220892177One of the SCP authors got a book published just replacing "SCP" with "The Institute" or whatever

>>220891010not a movie but a short anthology series a la chernobyl>generic site 19 containment breach>episode 1 follows the containment breach from the POV of a D class, >he has no idea what's going on and neither do the audience, heavy on survival horror>each episode then follows a new character of a higher clearance than the previous episode, e.g. a junior researcher, then a security guard, then a chaos insurgency guy, etc>each episode reveals more about the true cause of the containment breach and leans more towards action horror / cosmic horror as it goes on>final episode is from the perspective of one or multiple O-5 council members and you get a fuller picture of what truly happened>each episode's timeline briefly intersects with one or multiple previous episodes' so the whole thing feels connected>each episode goes heavy on children-of-men style one-take scenes, especially for action scenes.not sure who I'd wanna cast but It'd be neat if the lesser characters were played by relatively unknown actors whilst the higher ranking characters would potentially be played by more famous charactersthis would also incidentally work almost 1:1 for a half life black mesa disaster miniseries.
>>220893293*by more famous actors
>>220893162SCP in of itself isn't an original idea. There was a show of Syfy that came out roughly a year after the /x/ post of 173 that was based entirely around the warehouse in Indiana Jones where the Arc of the covenant is sent to. All the aspects tagging and bagging dangerous artifacts are there, albeit they use a special goo to neutralize objects that act on their own rather than set up all the high tech containment procedure (Solely so they could keep the cluttered warehouse look).Shows like Special Unit 2, the MIB movies and the X-files all served as a backbone for a very obvious concept of regulating supernatural things that SCP is derived from.
About half the runtime is just _________ and [REDACTED]. As in, you just don't get to see or hear anything. Audiences are gonna FREAK.
