Swamp Thing is infinitely superior.
>>
>>220896868
The werewolf by night one shot is the only Disney+ marvel slop I enjoyed
>>
Do they even have mushrooms in swamps? Why is he covered in mushrooms?
>>
>>220897186
To be fair I actually read comics through the 90's an I couldn't tell you a fucking thing about man-thing besides him just being marvels swamp thing-at-home.
>>
>>220899025
Yeah man, there's always a shitload of wet dead wood in swamps.

2032 on a Monday in January (a dumping ground so not good) staring Elrond Page as the Man Thing on 3 foot stilts and Katherine Heigl. Directed by Vin Deisel.
>>
>>220896868
i wonder what it feels like to buttfuck the man-thing
>>
>>220896868

The interesting part is that Swamp Thing is the knock-off, but he’s a way, way better character. That was a strange time in comics, where a lot of the creators were reskinning ideas from one label to the other. Like these, for example:

>Doom Patrol and The X-Men
>Challengers of the Unknown and The Fantastic Four
>>
>>220899456
you forgot
>justice league and superfriends
>>
>>220899456
>>220899527
Aquaman and Namor.
>>
>>220899456
How did DC ever skirt the "le mutants are despised and hunted by normies" angle? I mean, it's one thing to have actual mutants, but to use that actual storyline is near blatant copying.
>>
>>220899741
Good one.

>>220899748
Unless I’m mistaken, Doom Patrol predates the X-Men and the creators themselves suspected they’d been ripped off. In the case of the Challengers and the FF, Kirby created them both.

Man-Thing has the cooler design and speechless guardian monster of an interdimensional rift is cool than being the Lorax.
>>
>>220899904
Plus, he teamed up with Howard the Duck.

No one asked for your autobiography.

queer faggot
>>
>>220899904
Not to me. Man-Thing’s lack of an internal monologue kind of makes him boring to me.
>>
>>220900035
Lmao
>>
>>220899152
I had a miniseries where Man-Thing, Franklin Richards, and Artie and Leech from the X-men went on a cross dimension adventure.
>>
>>220900516
I remember that. Wasn’t Mondo involved with that somehow, too?

I watched Werewolf by Night while high, chilling on the couch on a strangely cold October night not too long after breaking up with my girlfriend. I thought it was slightly better than mediocre, but the experience was so incredibly comfy I feel kinda good just looking at that picture.
I watched it in black and white, maybe I'll rewatch it in color sometime, that design looks pretty cool.
>>
>>220898881
I tried watching it but it was just so cringy.

They are both inspired by an older character called The Heap.
