I don’t think it was one of the standard “the monster is grief!” Types of trauma horror though.

Seemed more like people attempting to reconcile an inherently mysterious and impossible to understand realm by applying their own internal logic to it. And this is proven false consistently. Clark didn’t actually know what the fuck was safe or not and is killed. The therapist didn’t know anything. Even the company didn’t know anything.

I liked the kind of theme and narrative around loops, memories, patterns of thought, architecture and the backrooms representing all of this jumbled together in some cosmic way
