Every single character in the show is retarded. After a certain point I started hoping that the Black cyborg guy would just kill everyone, and it was looking like he actually might, but then turned into a big retard too at the end.There was a shitpost predicting that the finale would have the Eyeball alien jump into a Synth and call itself Ripley, then get sent on a secret mission that ties Alien Earth into the first movie. It's bad by early Alien film standards but we are nearly 50 years into the franchise. The IP is going to get watered down. But as a fan of some of these long running sci-fi franchises I still like getting new content set in the IP's world.
They baited us with Alien and then switched it out for a poorly articulated, badly executed story about dumb robots. The plot doesn't need to have aliens at all.

It has a couple episodes that maybe were meant to be a standalone movie. The rest confusing trash, like a bad mini series they’d put on broadcast TV from 15 years ago. The quality is jumpy. All the actors are OK, many are creepy. I wouldn’t call it important alien story, except the cyberpunk type corporations controlling the world. I think they should restart some of it with new characters and storylines. Probably kill most of the kids characters and bad guys off, and go onto the next plot as fast as possible, because i cant watch anymore of the imprisoned kids or aliens…which is basically alien 4 plot.
I did the basedjack face when this happened but it was all downhill from here.
