I would've liked to see more of a mystery, more layers to the story. We get most of the information upfront and there's very little detective work, even Ben's own backstory isn't a real mystery, he just says it. We show Cat's the rat a few episodes in so the whole plot is largely wide open.The fight scenes could've been better, too. I would assume that it's already someone else in the costume and not Cage, but I would've played it up a bit more, show how strong and quick The Spider is. Someone in a thread from yesterday mentioned that Ben Reilly doesn't really *feel* like a superhuman/peak human and often seems more taken out of it than would be reasonable for someone like him, being out of breath from running up the stairs.Overall I liked it and thought it was a cool little show, and it feels like cage had a fun time doing it.
Why couldn't it just be half and half? I'm seeing some shots look better in color and others black & white. Not going to watch both.

The cg was pretty bad even in bw (godzilla minus one was the same way where the effects felt "better" than in color imo)but I had fun with it. Really enjoyed it and it barely felt like it had anything to do with superheros which I was kinda worried about. 8/10
