The only good one is Cinderella because its sincere and faithful without adding a bunch of meaningless cgi but its also the most overlooked so they probably feel the need to update them somehow. I think the worst thing is they are afraid to let the main cast be hot. For example they did Aladdin and feminist-stripped Jazmine of all her femininity and no one remembers or cares about that remake

There's something inherently toxic about anyone watching this and starting to feel like there is a political push towards something.
The entertainment industry has always been more liberal. And that is okay, as it is a relief of the stress that is authority and stern lifestyle. Now that that balance has shifted, so does the perception of entertainment.
Woke people go look into older things and go "oh that's racist" or "that's not feminist enough" despite those movies being pushing boundaries in their own way.
And on the other side you do have just people who get sick of the yard stick moving about what is acceptable.
