HAHAHAHAHAHA
Trailer looked like some ai jeet slop and clearly it was just that.
>>220923787Not so fast, retards!
>>220923787The manosphere is reviewbombing it because it upset them too muchProbably
>>220923817RT and Metacritic measure different things. Metacritic is the average score a reviewer gives a movie. RT is the percentage of reviewers who gave it a positive review. A 5/10 is considered a positive review.
>>220923831The manosphere what I'm counting on for us to have the summer of HeMan like the girls had the summer of Barbie
>>22092378730 reviews>>22092381792 reviews
>>220923845yikeswhy has anyone ever cared about rottentomatoes?
We've been over this you fucking apes, critics are not a good way to tell if a movie is good or not. They're literally worse than random chance when it comes to predicting the final score. Reading their dogshit opinions actively skews your perception of a film away from objective truth. Also, critics put out the hit on Gotti.
>>220923936>don't listen to professional critics>listen to me, a nobody loser, instead
>>220924036Listen to the wisdom of the masses, who more often than not, disagree with critics.
>>220924054>wisdom of the chuds
>>220924036>professional critics are always right
>>220923787We need to support this movie since it has a white lead.
>>220924092i enjoyed that.
>>220924119Sorry about your brain problems
>>220923936I was never disappointed at the theater until I saw I Robot in 2004 (57% Rotten Tomatoes). I had high expectations, had I checked Rotten Tomatoes first I prob wouldn't have been disappointed >For example, when my buddy wanted to see Jupiter Ascending (27% on Rotten Tomatoes), I knew to go in with low expectations and I wasn't disappointed, enjoyed it bc I expected it to suck. My friend was very disappointed bc he had high expectations In the 22 years since my I Robot problem, Rotten Tomatoes has never steered me wrong. I was tracking Metacritic but that one is not in synch with me at all so I canned itI also look at IMDB for user score
>>220924116ThisManosphere, to action!
>>220923816100%. It literally looks like one of those fake trailers that use AI. It has that gloss to it that's fucking weird.
>>220923787Who's idea was it to make a $200 million He-Man movie in 2026? Aren't He-Man fans like 50?
>>220924170>I also look at IMDB for user scoreThis is why:>>220924092I haven't been interested in seeing a Star Wars since the 1999–2005 ones sucked so bad, but if I did the IMDB (and audience score on RT there) would give me a heads up to lower expectations big time
>>220924262For The Rise of Skywalker they just made up the audience score. It hasn't moved since the release.
>>220924176For the Glory of Men, Boys, and Masculinity!!!
>>220924319That's why I always check IMDBFor 24 years now, checking IMDB and RT together have not steered me wrong. Granted I only go to the theaters once a year or so and I'm picky about what I see (unless a friend wants to see something)
>>220923787marvel slop style
>>220923831>The manosphere is reviewbombingNah, it's the exact opposite who's review bombing it. It's Wokies and bitter minorities who hate Leto.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggJ7UtddIvoThis looks like shit. Parody is being kind. wow.
>>220923787Too long
>>220924036critics are nobody losers, just put on a pedestal
>>220927265delusional
People just wanted it to be good because everything else is so bad.
>>220923831>>220926528review bombing isn't real
>>220924036>>don't listen to professional critics
>>220924036Kek, all these seething replies. You BTFO that retard, well done.
>>220923787Was there any hope this movie would be good?
Unironically some of the best movies are shit that land in the middle, usually between the 45-75 range. Higher than that is suspect, lower is pretty accurate.I.E. it's either sucking somebody's dick, or eating somebody's shit.
>>220923787Apparently, one of the things that ruins it is Jared Leto's voice
>>220931671>Jared Lego hateI think that's just people hating on this guy for the meme.
>>220931697https://youtu.be/ggJ7UtddIvo?si=-uW9KTrmeit4n2J0
>>220931725Sounds pretty gud to me, though I'm not familiar with the cartoon. Is he supposed to sound pitched higher or something?
>>220931725Sounds fine to me.
>>220931646that was the squeal, it was bad. the first however was good
>>220931725>>220931765https://youtu.be/2fJVSc2hnVw?si=t9pCACIzErz_Ut_xI think he's higher pitched in the OG. Whatever. Sounds fine. I don't think it's Leto's VA that's sinking this stupid marvel look alike movie that nobody asked for.Hopefully Matel stops this crap soon.
>they make fun of modern "woke" workplaces>scenes with skeletor are great (cant judge complains about jared letos voice because I wached a dubbed version)It was a fun movie but ofc I also played with the He-Man toys as a kid. Dont know if it would work if you dont already know the universe / dont have the nostalgia for it. The humor is on the level of the last DnD movie, not too crazy but I would have liked one notch down. Some scenes looked too much "made for 3D" to me but overall it had a nice vibrant look.
>>220931795>the squeal was bad
>>220923787The movie is a literal parody, and also critics don't matter, what matters is if the audience likes it or not
>>220924036Nobody is a "professional critic" and any random soccer mom or redneck mechanic knows more about film than all film students ever will. Sorry. Their faggy low-IQ "educated" opinions are dogshit. This was the case even 20 years ago when they wrote THEIR opinions, which none of them are doing now. They're just corpo paid mouthpieces, you subhuman redditroon chimp. This is why the Right all own homes and have kids and you will never get near a woman. Your rent is 2 days overdue btw and this time I am taking it out of your ass.
>>220923831No such thing as review bombing. That's just cope for "a bad movie earned bad reviews". Also men have never been and can never be "upset". Like all actual adult males, I'll completely ignore the existence of any reviews, especially the paid ones, and just go see it at the drive0in with my kids. Unless my buddies at work see it first and say it sucks, then I will take my kids fishing instead.
>>220931646>>220931795Game of Shadows was full of fan service for people who were enamored by the first Guy Ritchie film. I enjoyed the fuck out of it because it did dial all of the unique quirky shit from the first one to 11. But from an artistic perspective it is a bit of an abortion and I'm not going to pretend it's not. Still, like the first movie, it's a very faithful screen adaptation of how Holmes was originally written. And Game of Shadows didn't disappoint in that department. But I think the big sin was that they made the movie way too self aware. I mean he did it with the first one too, but not to the point that the movie was a parody of itself, at times, which was like 90% of Game of Shadows.
This film looks camp and goofy as fuck. I'm gonna download a rip when it's available
>>220923845It's a 6/10 that is positive.
