The general issue with these polls is they are not weighted. In theory everyone that voted for her may only rank her 8th out the 8 options they make, yet it still gets just counted as of equal weight.

Started reading Vampire Science. You can feel immediately how much they were pushing the 8th as more of an action hero incarnation of the Doctor. I don't mind it, that said. The Doctor chasing a fleeing vampire while shouting "come and ave a go if you think you're hard enough" is a pretty strong open.Also, this writer has no idea how to write in an American accent. "Carylin" is very unconvincing.
