it was fairly tame. theres a tranny character and theres a bit where the dad struggles with pronouns and another character who gets called her and corrects it to they/them in an annoying manner. honestly the more offensive parts are probably one of the wayans, i dont know which ones which, who plays the in the closet gay guy who makes references to wanting to have sex with men in every scene and that they bring doofy back playing the retard gimmick. goofy was the highlight of the movie even tho, wish they had cool doofy from the end of the first movie but he just plays the retard till he gets killed

its not so much take blows rather they are brought up. like one joke is that a character gets attacked and her friend visits her in the hospital and tells her i was worried you were dead i even wrote your obit and the other character goes i bet you had chatgpt write it and thats the entire joke. one of the few good bits i thought was when they ask doofy why hes not in prison for killing the people in scary movie 1 and he says he got pardoned as one of the jan 6th rioters. doofy is the small highlight in this really bad movie

Just came back from the kinoplex, it's really bad and unfunny. Maybe few chuckles here and there. Not worth it.
Has no story, tries to parody too many things at once (and fails), has terrible unrelated sketches shoehorned in, gets too fucking meta by the end by trying to self-reference and self-deprecate. Overall solid 3/10, would not recommend.

Just came back from the movie. The movie shits bed, a few OG members are the strength but still they got shit material to work with. The ending was trying to be too meta that it got stale. I think the editing was awful, if they hadn’t dragged out the punchlines in most of scenes, at least a few of the jokes would have come across. The real or plastic dicks weren't funny even once, drug jokes were written by 10 years old, horror references made no sense.

it will probably be really dumb and bad, but that's kinda part of the appeal.

Saw it today. Laughted a few times but in the revival of spoof movies it got mogged hard by the new Naked Gun movie.
I talk as someone who grew up renting SM1 and SM2 and laughed my ass off watching the third and fourth ones in theaters.
Also the plot is barebones, but if you're a horror movie nerd from the last 10 years, you'll get a kick out of the countless references they throw at you.

Also to add to the negatives, I watched in France in a subtitled version, and they usually try to adapt the jokes in the subs, so the meaning of the original version can get lost in translation.
I found myself laughing alone in the theater because I didn't need the subs, while the rest of the audience didn't get the jokes because of shitty subs.

I was very disappointed by Anna Faris in this movie. The only good bit they gave her was the John Wick fight. And she looked very uncute, like she did some botox.
Also her daughter was super underutilized, peakes very early on in terms of jokes.
