What the fuck was this shit?

>>220933501Okay then. I think it was something to do with the judy spirit playing a trap on them and Cooper suffering from main character hero syndrome where he thinks he can just undo history and make everything right again. It made me feel mad
>>220933415There are no heroes in this world of man, son.
>>220933415The Great Filtering.
>>220933415I think "shit" well about covers it
>>220933415you finally realizing lynch is a hack fuck and people only shill him ironically to get these posts
>>220934023oh good heavens is it that time of day already
>>220934049Yes.
It's not the same Coop. It's not the same Laura. There is no going back and you can't save her. This isn't your dream.
at least it wasn't a cop out like most television endings
>>220933469Nah. It's the opposite. You are getting filteres. Big D does not care about "making sense" or hidden meaning. He likes to make movies with "wtf" in them.Pseuds like you pretend to grasp a hidden meaning but there is none. You never dare to write what you thought when watching it, becouse you would get torn apart by your fellow retards at the cult. There is no greater meaning. Most, there is a vibe or feeling.A kurva anyád.
>>220933415From what I gathered the "universe" of TP is based on tv shows.Dale comes from one reality that's a soap opera with all the soap opera trappings. But a sinister influence corrupts it.He enters the "behind the scenes" dimension where he can then enter other "tv realities".The one where Dougie existed for a while is like a dramedy reality with an overall jokey tone, but sinister elements crept in there as well. Then the final one is like a serious "realistic" crime drama.Entities that exist in the "behind the scenes" dimension can enter these "tv realities" and start changing them, sort of how producers or whatever can alter how a show plays out and change the tone. The original soap dimension gets slowly altered into a sinister one, basically Judy's influence turned a soap into a horror show. There's no real point to any of this, but I feel like Lynch was just exploring ideas and approaches that play with these concepts overall with no particular end game in mind.
>>220934727Yes that is what filters people about lynchWhy are you such an insufferable retard though?
>>220934774He just think he's above it all with his world-weary cynicism. Many such cases and very sad.
>>220933415Kill yourself
>>220933532We can't undo the past. Even if you could literally go back in time like Coop it wouldn't matter due to the paradox involved.
>>220933415
>>220934727You sound like the kind of person who, for decades, would get filtered by Eraserhead despite the fact that it's clearly an expression of anxiety towards fatherhood. You're looking too hard and missing what's staring at you in the face.Coop needed a golden shovel; he couldn't move on and it only makes things worse.
he ended up in an alternate reality (the real world)
>>220934852And you're the kind of midwit that thinks a complex work can be reduced to a one concept and then feels like they "solved" it.
>>220933415supreme kino beyond
>>220934727>>220934852you're both half rightthere's meaning, but it's all very surface level, it's just a soap opera with magicbut because the average lynch fan is so tryhard they would never deign to watch something like a soap opera and realize that essentially ALL of them had evil twins and alternate realities, and magic, and ghosts, and sudden organized crime plot lines concerning teenagers, and stories where a main character is wanted for a crime or whatever and travels to a different place with a bunch of characters nobody cares about, and plotlines being destroyed by actor's personal problems with each other, etc.none of it is as complicated as people think, but none of it is random
>>220934863What can be said to be real anyway? We are probably living inside a quantum computer. Can't explain gravity? Just say "magic" did it.https://www.quantamagazine.org/entanglement-builds-space-time-now-magic-gives-it-gravity-20260603/
>>220934874You're still doing it. Lynch didn't make things to be "solved". The man was an emotivist and made things to be felt; any depth you find in his work is purely subjective. This is something he very clearly states, he likes to give the audience "room to dream". It is meant to be left to interpretation while only really directing you emotionally and playing around with ideas along the way.
>>220935045
>>220935087I take this quite literally. It's what all his work is about.
>>220934762I like this interpretation
