Worse than Interstellar because everything works out too perfectly and there's a sense of everyone gets a happy ending, without much or any loss/sacrifice- could have gotten that from the other two crew members who died but they weren't developed enough to make us care, or from those on future frozen earth who died but it didn't show any of that

I'm trying to get through it but it's so bad. The music choices are especially jarring and unfitting for every scene. Tone is all over the place. Can't decide if it's a serious hard scifi or a quirky comedy. The editing is jarring schizophrenic quick cuts and time jumps without any cohesion. The rock creature is the only interesting part so far.
