>female director or screenwriter gets hold of a critically acclaimed series in which men dominate the narrative or that is beloved by men>said person proceeds to "deconstruct" it i.e. she turns it into a commentary on why men and the things they like are bad and why women and minorities are good and better than themWhy is this so common?
