Well, imagine Rick says "I wanna find out who I really am" so creates a Matrix for himself, creates I dunno millions of copies of his mind and gives them all different life circumstances, accelerates the time so the a lifetime is a few hours, then reuploads all of those lived experiences back into himself. Kind of like the Roy game. Might be an interesting learning experience.
