do they even read dm's personally. years ago i did send a dm to a d lister actress before turning myself in to the training brigade for my mandatory military service. about three weeks after turning myself in i finally got internet access and checked insta only to see no response. it wasn’t some retarded pledge of love shit i just asked her to wish me luck in the military.

Why the fuck would I dm an actor or want to speak to them? They're performing cattle who do things for my amusement.

I got a book full of celebrity addresses at the elementary school book Fair in the 90s and i probably wrote like 20 letters and never got a response. Also to President Clinton. Nobody ever sent me any mail except sometimes my grandparents would send me postcards when they went down the beach but that was always disappointing to get because they would write one lazy sentence saying they are having a good time and that's it.

Your experience sounds disappointing but unless you paid her or paid admission to some fan fair to stand in line, you should put the bar on the ground for what you hope for out of them. If you're that desperate for an empty headpat you might as well just have some AI make a fake cameo vid of them cheering you in.

be honest the fantasy is she messages you back and it sparks something and you start talking and then she becomes your gf

I don’t know what to tell you, anon, women know what desperation looks like

Back in the early days of Twitter, celebrities used to respond to shit all the time. I rage baited Henry Winkler, Drew Carry, and John Legend all in a week once.

Are you winning, son?

Should've coughed up money for the cameo

Yep, but it's not something I do only for celebrities, and not to profess my love. I like telling people I admire that I'm grateful for their work or talents, even just random online posters or youtubers I follow. It's nice sending a heartfelt message like that, even with no expectation of receiving any reply or acknowledgement. I've had at least a couple brief one-time correspondences like that. But in my examples I'm giving something, not asking for anything

Based actress ignoring another (of the countless) delusional zogbots who think serving in Satans army deserves any modicum of respect. Bitterly disappinted whenever I see any of you return alive and intact. But I take solace that the years tick by and your service rifle starts looking friendlier and friendlier until you pop it in your mouth like it was some kikes cut cock and squeeze the trigger

I wrote to jeff goldblume during this timeframe post lost world and he sent me a letter a picture that was autographed and I hate my parents for somehow throwing it away

I heard of fans of magicians asking for their thumbs. I don't know what that means nor will I look it up.

The younger and less known actors normally do. The cute tomboy actress and vlogger I follow usually responds to most comments on her posts.

That guy looks like the henchman in dark man, the kinda zesty one.

Yeah Greg Bryk the Canadian tv actor who played Seed in Far Cry 5 made an Instagram post abkut his favorite roles and I mentioned a few obscure cjaracters like his really cool one episode Martian lieutenant in The Exlanse and his regular slot in an early 2000s Canadian biolab drama and he messaged me to say he appreciated my memory.

Really cool proper Colonial era looking dude who's always memorable when he shows up.

in the late 00s when I was torrenting every horror movie that ever came out, I would often message cute girls from those movies on facebook and like half the time they'd respond because those were just their regular accounts but most of the time they'd stop responding when they realized I was a teenager and/or that I wasn't trying to offer them a part

That's a nice thing to do, it's easy to forget and take for granted people like that
