And fans of Supernatural are the most rabid obsessed people in the world, even worse than people who watched the DC CW shows or the Netflix Marvel shows, so the people behind The Boys realized they could permanently give their slop enough viewers by throwing in various actors from it.

You can see why he was cast in Supernatural.... but it also made it so clear how much a cliff he dropped off in later years. He puts in almost zero effort whatsoever.
