>No, with a motorcycle made of jealousy

Holy fuck, how do you even come back from this?
>>
>>220966682
Is that an image for ants?
>>
what the fuck does that even mean
>>
>>220966682
why are Brits so much funnier than Dutch and Nordics
>>
>>220966682
>well vroom vroom then
:)
>>
>>220966733
Is that what you think? Well I am Dutch and I have a funny Dutch joke that will change your mind.

A man and his dog walk along down the road. The man looks at his dog and says “What a nice day for the weather we are having.” The dog just looks back at him. He is a dog… they cannot talk!

The mean-spirited comedian didnt like the success and whimsy that Noel had. He took the opportunity to lampoon his act in front of an audience to hurt his feelings. That motorcycle of jealousy was perfect comeback. He had his number and pointed it out.
>>
>>220967222
Is that a Dutch stereotype? Had no idea.
>>
>>220967222
Another man and his dog are walking near by. The man looks at the other man and says "Yes, it sure is a fine day. It is too bad dogs can't tell us what they are thinking". The other man responds "I wasn't talking to you".
>>
>>220967306
it's not a stereotype, dutch dogs really can't talk
>>
>>220966682
I can't read this shit, you stupid asshole. Go to hell.
>>
>>220967562
Why would he ask him in english if they are in Dutchman? Hmmm...curious.
>>
>>220967599
Dutch is just English with a funny accent
>>
>>220967599
doesn't the stupid dog know that English is today's lingua franca?

An angloid's car breaks down in front of a gas pump so an employee comes out and says "I'm starving here, I have to eat the car."

Noel entire shtick is being wacky and absurd. Kinda like Russell brand is verbose and robin williams is zany. He was taling a piss of his personality because he was envious of how much fan adoration he got and wanted to publicly humiliate him it backfired stupendously.

That's Sam Amstel, he is a funny guy.
>>
>>220967981
Noel Fielding's man thing is absurd imagery and silly idioms. I've never watched him on his own so I don't know how that works generally, but it worked very well at lending The Mighty Boosh a highly unique and bizarre atmosphere, regardless of what you think of the shows quality. It simply works for him, even if you think he's a one-trick pony or that it's easy to make things up on the spot. So I don't know the context of OPs picture, but the guy attacks him by just explaining Noel's shtick, to which Noel simply responds with his shtick (a silly idiom, 'I'll tear the stuffing out of your pillow'). Then the other guy tries to degrade Noel by showing how easy it is to just make some silly imagery, 'oh with scissors made of glitter?', and Noel again, just keeps cheerfully to his shtick while also calling out the other guys jealousy. Even if the other guy is correct for calling out Noel's very narrow area, I have no idea why he's being so bitter about it, again I don't know the context here.
>>
>>220966733
Dutch people are funny without realising because of how brazenly rude they always are
>>
>>220967222
You may just be the funniest Dutch man that ever existed.
>>
>>220969765
He is a bitter twat, i have seen him ambush other guest. He has that character trait that is oh so much better.

Simon Amstell hasn't ever done anything especially wrong that I can think of but he has such a smug lecturing tone I just can't see him as anything but an unlikeable twat, I have no idea how he became a known face on television for a while (but given it's UK media industry, I assume nepotism/the class element is involved)

>>
>>220966733
It's a very low bar to be funnier than Dutch and Nordics
>>
>>220966733
Weirdly specific.
>>
>>220969988
Smug "clever" "witty" humour was the in thing in the UK in the 2000s and 2010s, I remember being an embarrassing wretch in high school calling someone "bracist" for making fun of someone's braces and shit like that thinking girls would find me smart and have only recently realised that if I'd just said retarded more often it would've worked a million times better. At least Simon Amstell could still be edgy every so often
>>
>>220969765
Amstel wasn't bitter, it was just banter
>>
>>220966682

Nope, legit hate. Learn to spot the difference before you get in trouble. Dont hang around curmudgeons that dislike you.
>>
>>220970312
Amstell mocked every person on Buzzcocks, so he hated them all?
>>
>>220970312
It was his job to insult the guests. Thats why he's hosting it
>>
>>220970448
Yes, getting a job where you can direct your vitriol doesnt it make it any less toxic. Letterman would do tjis with Madonna, paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan and got away with it because it was his shtick. Same with ellen d.
>>
>>220969765
I get his schtick I just didn't know if there was something clever about his line I was missing or if it really was just awkwardly nonsensical. Seems it's the latter.
>>
>>220970448
>>220970478
There is playful ribbing and concentrated vitriol, that you cant differentiate them should alarm you. You are going to be out and about when a brute will be considering hurting you and you will be none the wiser.

His interviews were funny because he could pull out and reveal in a funny theatrical way the deep down insecurities of the people he interviewed. For example, I really enjoyed and laughed when he interviewed the lead singer from The Kooks.
