This is the worst one yet

Why does Hollywood turn everything into dark slop colours? And why did they fuck up the helmet to the point of not being recognable?
>>
>>220968348
it makes CGI cheaper to composite.
>>
To be fair, Sean Connery is too old and dead.
Who would you suggest?
>>
>>220968375
is that seriously the reason? ...fucking jews cheaping out AGAIN
>>
>>220968410
Tom Selleck would have been a perfect choice, but he is also too old.
>>
>>220968410
I don't care about any aspect of He-Man.
maybe they should have cast Peter Dinklage.
>>
>>220968450
>Tom Selleck would have been perfect because… the actor already has a moustache

This is why fan casting ideas are always so fucking terrible
>>
>>220968436
the other aspect is that many normies need dark colours to tell them that a story is meant to be taken seriously, not a kid's movie etc. compare the colour scheme of the upcoming Supergirl movie to Gunn's Superman.
>>
>>220968240
Jared Leto Skeletor is worse
>>
>>220968476
>Patrick Stewart is a bad Professor X because the fans always pushed for him to get the role due to him being bald
>>
>>220968581
Stewart at least had played same type of authority figure as Xavier before
>>
>>220968375
It look like AI, not even cgi
>>
>>220968476
Fan casting are always better than Hollywood casting
100% of the times, even when hey are shit
>>
>>220968649
Yeah, like in Excalibur and Dune
>>
>>220968240
Why do you guys even give a fuck? He-man was always a shitty slop franchise only made to sell toys, even as a kid i avoided this show.
>>
>>220968840
Most media is and was made for that. What mattered was the show itself.
>>
another ginger -> nigger
>>
I'm gonna download this film just to see a few scenes and Skeletor
>>
>>220968953
kek this
>>
>>220968840
Is this when you post fifty more times about how you "don't care"
>>
>>220968840
I don't see you complaining about modern shows only existing to sell streaming service subscriptions, faggot

also thanks for letting us know that you had no friends as a kid
>>
>>220968912
You clearly didnt watch the show, it was sideshow level, constantly recycled animation where every character has the same bodybuilder physique so they could map different colors onto the same 12 frames of a guy doing a somersault

And?
What are you criticizing exactly?
40yo tech being 40yo?
the budged being limited?

how does it affect it? or you?
>>
>>220968240
Ving Rhames playing Tom Selleck?
>>
>>220968240
>character is canonically a ginger
is there a more damning trait for any fictional character? it's become a meme with a large image collage because of how often they've done it now.
>>
>>220969075
>I don't see you complaining about modern shows only existing to sell streaming service subscriptions, faggot
There's a difference between something created by someone who actually has passion about a project working with execs and giving up some amount of creative freedom so it can get made, vs something like he-man created solely by execs top to bottom to make as much money as possible. And regardless i avoid modern shows anyway.
>>
>>220969331
Lmao, creative freedom

MOTU had all the creative freedom any show always had. And the creatives had enough creative vision and effort in it that it pushed the toy line into the stratosphere

You have no argument
>>
>>220969462
Yeah that's why he-man has no lasting fandom, unlike something TMNT. Literally all discussion centered around he-man before the movie was memeing about skeletor and talking about how fucking gay the show was. Go watch an episode of he-man, and compare it to something like TMNT if you want to see how trash it is
>>
>>220968240
At the end of the day, who cares?
>>
>>220969596
TNMT had countless of comics, games and cartoon series tho

You have no argument and for some reason this cartoon makes you mad as hell jsut by existing and being good

Were you bullied and had no friend when it was on tv and everyone was liking it while excluding you from the conversation?
>>
>>220968476
Correct. The stupid internet has been fancasting Jason Momoa as Lobo for at least a decade, and now that it became a reality... it's putrid cringe.
>>
>>220969741
>TNMT had countless of comics, games and cartoon series tho
He-man has had multiple reboots and spin-offs that all fail horribly because it's a cynically-produced franchise. No one actually cares about He-Man, so I don't know why they're pretending to care about the new movie.
>>
>>220968240
Mayne-at-Amred-Robbery

No one has ever seen this cartoon.

Correct opinion
>>

Kek
>>
>>220970037
Im old enough to have watched it originally and I also had the toys, probably still in my parents attic.
>>
>>220969741
Turtles media had interesting stories and characters. He-ma doesn’t.
>>
Is *it* in, tho?

>good animation didnt exist in the 80s
>>
>>220970374
It's a limited animation show made for TV. People know what they're getting with these.
>>
>>220968511

Jared Leto annoys me just as much as the next guy but he's actually amazing as Skeletor.
>>
>>220968240
The best part of this is watching all the chudtubers like Drinker suddenly forgiving race swapping because they like the rest of the movie. Either its okay to do it or its not, there's no difference between this and anything Zendeya's ever done.
>>
>>220969596
TMNT was based off of a teenage/adult comic and it got dumbed down for children. It is not comparable to He-Man or any of the other Saturday morning cartoons that were created just to sell toys. You are better off comparing TMNT to classic comic cartoons like Batman TAS, Spider-Man, X-Men, etc. They have more similarities as they bank on pre-existing IPs.
Masters of the Universe started out as toys and everything else came afterwards. It was not of any particular quality and outside of introducing cool dudes for kids to idolize it didn't do much, and all if its various remakes, reboots, etc are garbage mostly because they're too serious.
He-Man should be compared to GI Joe and things of that ilk.
By the way, the lead writer for TMNT worked on MotU, as did many other staff that moved on to other shows. It is disingenuous to say that no effort or love was put into it, even though it's a low-quality ad for toys.

That guy who shot someone outside of a corutroom could play him

After all these years,... never understood the function of having a soup-bowl mounted on Man-at-arms' chest like that.

>no nuance allowed! all media must conform to the lib/con binary! I cannot enjoy anything unless all my internet friends shout in one voice NOT WOKE!
This sounds like an exhausting way to live your life

It's even cheaper and less talented than that. He-Man was rotoscoped. They had a couple of muscular actors acting out scenes while in various character costumes and simply traced over the live action footage while adding in stuff like Skeletor's skull face. THEN they re-used the resulting cartoon frames as much as they could get away with.
