>Kōji Yamamoto, planning producer for the Mononoke franchise's film trilogy, posted an apology on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday, and also announced he was retiring from producing. Yamamoto confirmed in the statement that staff had recast a voice actor who had been previously replaced, apologizing for the way in which the information about this was handled. Oricon confirmed that the third film in the trilogy had featured voice actor Takahiro Sakurai as the original Medicine Seller character, who appeared in the film in a cameo role.

This is what a producer does when he fucks up. In Hollywood, what happens when someone is race-swapped or doesn't reprise the role? Carry on kiddo, nothing to see here, you are actually the problem not my non-reasonable casting decision.
Stop watching American Films. Right now.

He was recast because he fucked some female writer in the actor's radio show while being married, which is also retarded, but Japan media industry is also cancer anyways
>>
Why did you tack on the race swap shit that has nothing to do with the story?
Also

Netflix has the rights to both the series and the movie trilogy. They haven't given a release date for the last one yet. The first two were 4-5 months after the Japanese theatrical release.

The "Series" is technically 3-4 episodes of some anime tho. It was kino compared to the other 2 trash stories tho.
