>oh no giant ants out worst nightmare AAAAAAAAAAAA
Seriously? Were 1950's era millennials this gullible? Oh brother. No wonder nobody took horror seriously until the underrated John Carpenter made Halloween. Before it, all horror films were cheap low budget crap. 50s millennial slop? Unwatchable. Sorry. That's the truth.

Them! (1954) is considered a sci fi classic. It was the first of a long line of atomic radiation turns things into giant monsters movies. The ants were big animated puppets kind of like Jabba the Hut in the original Empire strikes back movie. It capitalized on the paranoia over atomic tests at the beginning of the cold war.
