The average sopranos "fan" has only watched it through clips on youtube/tiktok and has never actually seen it. How does that make you feel?
>>
>>220974788
There wonder bread wops. Get their funposts from fuckin youtube
>>
>>220974788
Just like most of /tv/
>>
>>220974788
It's the only way to avoid all the useless Melphi and dream scenes.
>>
I've seen seasons 1-5 over a dozen times, but I've never been able to finish season 6 and I've never watched the series finale. It's such a boring slog and the way David Chase makes Tony 1000 times more of an asshole than he was in earlier seasons is frustrating/irritating. I think the furthest I've ever gotten is the beef between him and Hesh over gambling debts and I just couldn't go any further
>>
>>220974788
Maybe thats true nowadays
>>
>>220974848
He was a fucking piece of shit fully by season 4 but season 6 was just too much, it really felt like this faggot made it his mission for people to hate him and then never show how they clipped him
>>
>>220974788
No one born after 1989 is a real person.
>>
>>220974848
Season 6 is depressing but I've started to appreciate it more considering it's very in line with how the whole thing progresses and the conclusions it leads to. It was realistic in ways 99% shows wouldn't dare trying.
>>
I've noticed this show is getting more and more traction with Zoomers. Its probably gonna surpass the Office in terms of popularity
>>
>>220974818
>There
>funposts
>implying you're not one of those retarded little faggots.
>>
>>220974837
those only happen sporadic
carmela and other family drama is much more of a slog
>>
>>220974848
same, though I struggle through season 5 too, but 6 is just a depressing hellscape
>>
You can't be a fan of it like that. You don't get the context, from having seen every single scene building on each other from episode 1 to episode 86

This
The dream sequences are pure kino
>>
>>220974914
I skip all of the Janice and AJ scenes
>>
>>220974981
You just reveal your own ignorance.
>>
>>220974788
Modern "fans" aren't fans at all. Just like the vaccinated homos who are modern xfiles "fans" but despise everything the show ever stood for and just want to suck off Mulder or Skinner.
>>
>>220974981
Janish is kino
>>
>>220974981
AJ becomes more annoying and hateable as the show progresses, while Janice becomes more tolerable and likeable as the show goes on.

Soulless
>>
>>220975010
>>220975034
I've seen the show at least 5 times already, from beginning to end. There's nothing for me to extract from Janice scenes, except maybe a few, like where Tony pushes Janice during dinner while she's learning how to control her anger

>>220975064
AJ as a character is really just a reflection of Tony's life, a response to it. He's a fuck up with very few redeeming qualities, the worst offense being extremely boring

Literally me. All the family/therapy/dream shit is boring as fuck, I want to watch Paulie and Furio beating people.
>>
>>220975161
real lack of standards, your generation
>>
>>220974837
dream scenes were the best part of the show
>>
>>220974837
i hope for your sake you're baiting
>>
>>220975294
Oh yeah? Guarantee not a single quoted line in this thread comes from therapy or dream scene. Claiming "Anyway, $4 a pound" right now cos that's the only one anyone will remember.
>>
>>220974829
This. Who has time to watch television?
>>
>>220975442
Walt Whitman ova heya
>>
>>220974788
It gets too episodic at times so it can be a slog, and despite that I miss it
>>
>>220974788
Always with the scenarios.
>>
>>220975535
>too episodic
No such thing
The episodic nature of The Sopranos is part of what makes it so much better than other "prestige" tv shows. Each episode is made like it's a feature film, and a really good feature film at that. This is a far better way to make a show than the trash drama shows that came later, where each episode is just a long trailer for the next episode and every season ends in a cliffhanger.
>>
>>220974837
this is bait but it pissed me off
>>
the sopranos is a dogshit show that would have been vastly improved if every character was arrested in the first episode and then raped to death in prison

so i feel okay about it
>>
>>220974788
I have seen it though. I remember being pissed when the finale aired
>>
>>220975979
>the show would be better if it was just gay rape
Another average zoomer heard from
