I honestly always preferred the original Indiana Jones trilogy over the original Star Wars trilogy. Anyone else?

Definitely. Indy is a great protagonist. Never cared for Luke or Han or Leia. They were trash main characters and Star Wars is carried hard by its villains.

It's weird, I know the Indiana Jones movies are all just pulp adventure homages with almost no character development, but I never get tired of rewatching these movies whereas I care less about Star Wars as I get older even though technically the OG movies have much more substance to them

Was watching the Mr Sunday Movies faggots talking about 'Raiders' and how "real" it felt and they're absolutely spot on.
Also, Douglas Slocombe's cinematography is astonishing. It was unusual when it came out, in '81' but, fuck me, it looks amazing now.

Same.
The OT is good too
